IMO if that's telling us anything is we ought to shoot more, and stop dilly-dallying in and around the box as is so often the case before we end up losing possession. The likes of Puncheon, Davis, Lallana, Ramirez all don't shoot enough for me. We'd have a lot more goals in us if we have a bit more belief in our shooting ability IMO.

If he goes down the pecking order and has to spend the greater part of 90 minutes on the bench week in week out, who can blame him for wanting to?

Juventus are an absolute disgrace. Watching the game it was so obvious these match-fixing scandals are not going away anytime soon. It's Juventus ffs! They simply HAVE to be in the quarter-finals. Not to mention for the majority of the game Celtic outplayed them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - due to our recent makeover I can only see the option Rickie leaving in the summer to bring in a "sexier" replacement to take us to the "next level." Hope I'm wrong though.

...where after a poor run of form (this season) Pochettino fell out with Cortese and left the club by "mutual consent" (read it in the paper). After a few days of uproar and turmoil at the club it was announced on short notice that Adkins was returning!! Then it was a home game (can't recall the opposition) as his first match in charge, and he came out onto the pitch before the teams to a standing ovation followed by a rousing "One Nigel Adkins" chant. He then proceeded to take the mic and stand in the middle and talk to us, saying things like "delighted to be back", "love this football club", "looking forward" etc. I swear it felt so real I was bothered by the glare of the sun in my eyes and trying to make out what he was saying, yet couldn't control my happiness. Strangest yet most beautiful dream ever. Never woke up sadder in my life. Miss you Nigel! :(
