  1. Russia had 5 NATO countries bordering it before invading Ukraine; Norway, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Poland, and since the Invasion has doubled the length of it's NATO border due to Finland joining.
  2. Kane scored because the ball took 3 deflections on it's way to the point where he was stood motionless, and as for his passing - it was his loose pass that created the opportunity for Denmark to score. The post match analysis by Shearer and Lineker explained all that was wrong with Kane's play.
  3. The one where somebody kept muting the commentary to tell us, in some or other sub-continent language, how to get a free trial of TELEGRAM ?
  4. And now, surprisingly, the SC rules that if you hit your wife you can lose your Second Amendment rights; https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy77g704ldzo So the Right To Bear Arms can be successfully challenged after all.
  5. It's easy to play the populist card when you know you have no chance of winning. Your economic arguments could be picked apart by a primary school maths class, and your revisionist social and historical narratives appeal to the gullible, knuckle dragging, unthinking pseudo-nationalists who in other times might have followed their Fuhrer / Emperor / Duce / Great Leader down the ashen path to destruction.
  6. But where do they stand on the COVID hoax? Will they legislate to rein in the lies and deceit of the FaKe NeWs peddling MSM ? If they have nothing to say on these, the most important issues of our day, how can you trust them ?
  7. Farage says NATO and the EU provoked the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I wonder if he feels Poland provoked the Germans in 1939.
  8. But then you can't lie about how you voted to the people conducting the exit polls.
  9. At least Starmer wasn't filmed putting his thumbs up and leering at the camera as Denmark scored.
  10. https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/nigel-farage-sings-along-classic-29394630 Now, this looks like a job for me All you Gammons, just follow me 'Cause you fell for Brexit, tee hee hee And I'm a huge C.U.N.T.

  12. Sutherland, Eastwood, and Savalas in a Western standoff with a Tiger tank. WOOF WOOF !
  13. At the Welsh Conservative press launch all Sunak seemed to have to say was "Ignore the last 14 years, this is how bad Labour will be". It's a rehash of Project Fear.
  14. Starmer is looking to be the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom so shows no favouritism, Farage couldn't give a shiney sheite about the Scots, Welsh, or Northern Irish, and only cares about the English when he thinks there is something in it to boost his vanity..
  15. How many times do you think Farage is seen in the 'alehouse' when he is 'off-duty' ? It's a good photo op but I reckon he'd rather be in some upmarket wine bar.
  16. This is a perfect example of a toothless attack.
  17. Essex running away with things at the moment.

    Russia

Russia signs a security agreement with North Korea - in response South Korea is to reconsider arms sales to Ukraine. SK produces some of the best weapons systems in the World, and manufactures large quantities of artillery ammunition. In mentioning North Korean military assistance to the Russians, it has to be added that according to some reports something like half of the shells supplied are duds or explode in the barrel of the gun trying to fire them.
  20. Fuller pulls it back but can our bowlers defend 166 on this pitch ?
  21. Our innings is stalling badly.
  22. May 2009..……. This was 5 years after Alan Bates first contacted CW, the journalists waited until they were confident the story 'stood up'.

    Israel

If only these allegations hadn't already been raised and discussed earlier on the thread. There is a reason that the term 'Military Intelligence' is viewed as a classic example of a contradiction in terms. Given that Gaza was, other than the Korean DMZ, the most heavily surveilled piece of land on Earth, it would have been almost impossible for the IDF monitoring staff not to notice. As was noted in the earlier discussion, many of the troops carrying out the intelligence gathering were female conscripts, and they were overlooked as much due to mysogeny as incompetence by their superiors. Ultimately the IDF simply did not believe that HAMAS was capable of launching an attack on that scale.
  25. Jovan's right though, there aren't any prominent black MPs in either of the main parties, and we can only dream of the day when a 'person of colour' is appointed to either the Government or Oppoition front benches. As for becoming Prime Minister, the stuff of fantasy.
