Sadiq Khan is apparently planning to introduce Sharia Law to London. Ironically, Trump also said that free speech must be protected.

Why not extend the playoffs so that every team has a chance ? Maybe they could play each of the other teams in the division once at home and once away.

It is rare for a match official to become a legend of their sport, but through the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Harold "Dickie" Bird was perhaps the most readily recognised and respected referee in any sport. He simply lived for cricket, and even the most aggressive demon bowlers paid attention to him

Trump to the press corps on AirForce One; " Fly safely........do you know why I say that ? Because I'm on the flight. If I wasn't I wouldn't care".

A Reform Government comprising former BNP and UKIP members combined with failed and rejected Tories. What could possibly go wrong ? The return of Truss ? -

His MAGA base care about 2 things, guns and the Bible, in that order. Mind you, credit to MTG, she's siding with the Epstein victims in calling for the full disclosure of all the documents in the case, including the "list".

Well now we know, autism is caused by pregnant women taking Tylenol, ( paracetamol ). There is very little scientific agreement with this finding, but Donnie and RFK jr know better.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Perhaps, but Farage has proved to be very successful at making elections into single issue ballots, then, like all political animals, manipulating the truth to amplify his message. Whether Reform voters are delusional or not, most voters look for easy choices on voting day, and he knows how easily people can be persuaded by slogans, smoke and mirrors, and to accept that UP is DOWN. It's a skill all the most effective operators have, even Donald Trump - what does "Make America Great Again" actually mean in practice ? -
Trump putting more social media pressure on Pam Bondi to investigate and prosecute his political opponents.

You said that ICE had 'picked on' the lady, when the reality is she had been legitimately slated for deportation years ago, having gone through all appropriate channels to apply for permssion to stay., the last failing in 2012, when Obama was President. She has lived in the US illegally since then. It pains me to say it, but in this instance ICE are doing their jobs correctly. All the issues with this case are due to India.

Do our strikers look good in training as they are going against our goalkeepers, or do our GKs look good because they are facing Downs, Stewart, et al ?

Give him a free pass on the Scousers match and then see how the next 2 games go; at home to the team at the top of the table, then away to the team at the bottom. If we actually show some gumption, and find a way to win both then I think he should stay, and assess again at the end of November, ( assuming it doesn't all go tits up in October ). Fail to beat Sheff Utd then he must go, but I have no faith in the Board.

Over what ? The Normans were not French in 1066, they are today. Similarly with Aquitaine, which was for a while Norman after Queen Eleanor married the Duke of Normandy and then became an English territory when she married King Henry II, subsequently giving birth to the future King Richard the Lionheart and King John. Burgundy was similarly independant of France at the tme, France only became a form of what it is today after they regained Calais from the English in 1558 and finally finished off English claims to what is now French territory, ( although Churchill did suggest uniting France and the UK in 1940 ).
