Was anything in his speech true ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cg451wx2n63o "Scientists based in Manchester, not the US, made the "key breakthrough" in splitting the atom, despite Donald Trump's claims in his inaugural speech, says a lecturer at one of the city's universities. The 47th US President erroneously listed the feat among his country's achievements during his address in Washington DC, after he was sworn on Monday. In fact, the honour belongs to New Zealander Sir Ernest Rutherford, who demonstrated atoms could be split during experiments at Victoria University of Manchester in 1919."

Republican Senator John Fetterman obviously didn't understand the dress code for the inauguration ceremony;

I assume that the Greek Gods, up on top of Mount Olympus, were quite sanguine concerning "Greek practices", especially Sappho on Lesbos.

Trump came away and said "it wasn't a very good sermon." He has been as graceless in victory as he was in defeat.
-
One of Trump's day one directives was to remove Bolton's security detail, put in place after he received death threats for criticising Donnie.

It is country built on the concept of God granting them the right to take by force any land they want that might belong to other, non- white Christian, peoples.

Only Fools and Horses now comes with a trigger warning. ( Apparently this is actually true ).

If anybody was wondering what would happen should a spoilt, brattish, petulant 6 year old become leader of a country, now you know. This isn't Presidential rule, it is a vendetta against anybody who he thinks has ever slighted him.

I suppose all those papers can now be shipped back to the White House from Mar-a-Largo.

It's all gone quiet whilst Donnie sleeps, but as Terry Scott sang, "You don't know what he's dreaming about".

If I got hold of a copy of Mein Kampf would that make me a Nazi ? -
"Man makes religion, religion does not make man. Religion is, indeed, the self-consciousness and self-esteem of man who has either not yet won through to himself, or has already lost himself again.".....".....it is the opium of the people". Karl Marx.

Faith that led to multiple religious persecutions and a civil war. A divided Church created to grant a King the right to divorce a wife he no longer wanted, yet that he recanted on his death bed. And these days the Church gives the sort of example whereby multiple sex offenders against children are effectively granted immunity.

If this is God's plan, it is the End of Days.

Hypo was being sarcastic. Stop being so easily triggered.

I bet you are pissed as a fart. Do you believe that people who violently assaulted Police officers and ransacked the Capitol, chanting for the Vice-President to be hanged, in an attempt to overturn the result of a democratic election, should all be pardoned and the slate wiped clean ? Your "Leader of the Western World" is trying to turn the "Land of the Free" into a dictatorship - one of his stooges was even giving Nazi salutes from the podium at his rally.
-
Looked more like he was attending a rally in Nuremburg.

Fuck the World, there's money to be made.

The guy is just plain deluded. He claims that in 2020 he got 9 million more votes than anybody else had ever acheived.
