That he suffered a blow to the head is widely reported across the spectrum of media outlets, both right and left, tabloid and broadsheet. I'm not sure where the stroke story comes from, other than it being induced by his being hit heavily. Such are the facts that GM seems so keen on.

Firstly, the Police are saying he died as a result of "injuries sustained during the protest", specifically a blood clot on the brain after a blow to the head. Secondly, I would think that all the CCTV etc is in the hands of the investigators, so those responsible will hopefully be charged in due course. Third, he is said to have been a Trump supporting military veteran, not that that is particularly relevant, but it seemed to be important to you when discussing the woman who was shot whilst enacting a violent criminal act.

Will GM now condemn those involved in the trespass/protest/insurrection who caused the death of a Police officer on duty at the Capitol ?

There was something I heard on the radio last night where a political journalist said that when Richard Nixon had become too fond of the 'sauce', Al Haig and other senior officials drew up an alternative set of instructions for the issue of the nuclear codes, and the journo suspected that something similar has gone on with Donnie.

So, you are a security officer, posted outside the last door protecting half of the Government, possibly the 'last line of defence', and a number of seemingly violent people, ( they are smashing through doors and windows, many are masked and wearing helmets, and for all you know are armed ), smash down the door in front of you and start to climb through. I thoughht I was on ignore. She should not have been there, she was smashing through doors and windows in a building where armed security officers were defending the Government of the USA. If she hadn't been breaking through that door, in the interior of the building, she would not have been shot.

GM doesn't do facts, as he consistently shows. Simp!e rule of thumb; if there is a Government building that is closed to the public, filled with several hundred of the nation's senior legislators including the Vice President, and guarded by trained, armed, officers, including the FBI and Secret Service, don't commit criminal trespass or break down doors and windows.

We don't know the details of how and why she was shot. If it was a trigger happy officer in panic mode then that should come out during the investigation and he should suffer the full weight of the Law. But what if it was perceived as a self defence situation by somebody charged with defending the Government ? Washington Police have said that there were firearms confiscated and the people carrying them arrested, they almost certainly didn't get them all. All in all it was a confused and mismanaged situation, and as yet nobody knows exactly what occurred.

I can just picture Donnie ranting, foaming at the mouth, and condemning Pence to the lowest pit of Hell as he watched him confirm Biden as President.

Pipe bombs,smashing their way into the legislature, and people shot dead. Yep, the same.

Is today's chaos the last convulsion of Trump's delusion, or the first act of 2 weeks of escalating subversion leading up to Biden's inauguration ?
