Latest failed Court case: an attempt to get the Courts to instruct VP Pence to ignore the Electoral College votes when Congress meets on Jan 6th, and replace all EC votes from the swing states that Biden won with votes for Trump. Trump supporters believe that the VP has the Constitutional power to unilaterally declare the winner of the election regardless of the actual vote. On top of that, upwards of 160 Republicans have said they will object to the EC vote count on Jan 6th. Truly the greatest "democracy" in the world.

I was a bit worried by the first few episodes of season 2, in that it seemed to have become cliched; firstly, Star Wars meets Dune ( Giant sand worm ), secondly Star Wars meets Aliens ( cave full of eggs that hatch into evil critters ), but it steered away and built up a good momentum. Excellent example of Girl Power in the last couple of episodes.

Hero gets captured by the big baddy. Big Baddy devises a convoluted method for disposing of the hero, but has something more pressing than to actually stand and watch the execution take place. Hero is left unattended and 'with one bound' works his way free, at the last possible moment. Meanwhile, Big Baddy has enabled his doomsday device which has a red digital timer, he sets the final countdown and leaves. Hero arrives, having just made his miraculous escape, and defuses the device with 1 second remaining.

That's Turkish's guilty pleasure.

Nobody is whining, we are all in the same boat. ( Other than Boris' dad it seems ). This will probably not be as bad as some had predicted, but will certainly not produce the Utopia some planned for. It's just one of those phrases that annoys me, along with 'losing points from a winning position. You start the game with a certain number of points; if you lose you have the same number, if you draw you gain 1, if you win you gain 3. The only time you actually have posession of the points is at the final whistle.

We always were. Across a season this squad rates between 7th to 12th. Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, and probably Everton are better sides than Saints and will finish above us. We are in the mix for the next 5 or 6 places. We may do better, we may do worse, but this is our level, currently.
