  1. What odds on a Doucoure 'handball' goal ?
  2. But we beat them, so at least in their case Derry is correct.
  3. Presumably that includes Newcastle, Brighton, and Bournemouth, and what about Wolves ?
  4. 3 possibilities; 1) The players respond positively and we get 6 points from Watford and Fulham, and the team gain some self-belief 2) Hughes is sacked 3) nothing changes, at least until the close of the January window I reckon #3.
  5. 5 attackers agsinst 3 defenders never turns out well.
  6. It's what he does best.
  7. Perrhaps City are coasting.
  8. Mrs B says not to worry,City will throttle back in the 2nd half. Anyway, I'm off to clean up some sawdust during half time - ( no, I've not been crafting some new defenders ).
  9. We could have 15 on the pitch and it still not be enough.
  10. At least my wife, a born and bred City supporter, isn't the sort to gloat, much.
  11. That says the change comes in in 2020, so there's another season of 2 down to get through yet.
  12. Put VVD alongside Yoshida at centre-back, bring back Morgan in midfield, then put MLT behind the strikers and play Ron Davies or Pelle alongside Ings.
  13. Number
  14. It's a doddle, this Brexit lark; https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/oct/26/russia-brexit-liam-fox-wto-plan-uk " Russia is among 20 countries that are looking to squeeze a commercial advantage from Brexit after blocking an attempt by the international trade secretary, Liam Fox, to fast-track a World Trade Organization deal on the UK’s terms of trade with the world. Whitehall is now facing “up to two dozen” different negotiations with countries over how much meat and dairy produce will be permitted into the British market and what tariffs the UK will set on imports." ".....in terms of the bilateral free trade deals that we hope to get with Australia, New Zealand and the US, these could be delayed while we haggle over the numbers. It’s a complicated discussion and it could easily take a couple of years to sort out and that means it would be three or four years before we could implement bilaterals, so it is likely to introduce delays.”

    Shane Long

No it isn't. Long is supposed to be a Premier League, and International, striker. The only measure that applies is his goal scoring record.
  16. But less than we spent on Carillo.
  17. He was not selected because he is ill.
  18. Never going to have a chance of a win unless we can find a way to score.
  19. We are a team completely lacking in confidence, and Gabbi plays like Shane Long but without the pace.
  20. Trump or the bombing suspect ?
  21. Tears of laughter ?
  22. buses
  23. Super Brett Ormegod every time.
  24. I don't think the situation can be 'sorted out'. We'll stagger past D-Day whilst retaining most of the EU functions we are supposed to be ditching, then spend the next 3 years grasping at straws and cobbling together a 'bespoke' arrangement that satisfies nobody and leaves the UK suffering under the weight of the self-interests of those we are 'negotiating' with.
  25. I suppose this chap thinks DT is doing OK; "A man accused of groping a woman on an aircraft has told US police that President Donald Trump had said it was OK to grab women." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-45958023
