  1. The FT's take on the 'deal' gives a different slant; "In a victory for Mr Juncker, it puts further tariffs — including Mr Trump’s threatened 20 per cent levy on auto imports— on hold while talks proceed. Yet it is unclear what the US president gets out of it other than a short-term political win at a time when he is under fire over his trade policies at home.*" https://www.ft.com/content/efc1bb08-90f1-11e8-b639-7680cedcc421
  2. Austin, ( injured more often than match fit ), and Long, ( his only 'strength' is winning freekicks, when he isn't offside ), are unlikely to reach double figures between them, so unless Gabbi miraculously turns into a 'worldie', we will again be fairly blunt up top. I think this is more of a worry than the defence, especially if Bertie finds his mojo again.
  3. "F()ck veterinary inspections and food standards." ?
  4. The stream of replies to his tweet makes interesting reading, my favourite response is this one Mind you, GM might agree with his proposal, given his labelling of anti-Brexiteers as 'traitors'.
  5. When I am King, you will be first against the wall, with your opinion which is of no consequence at all.
  6. The Government have apparently made a horlicks of translating it's proposals into EU languages, and even the Welsh version has grammatical errors. It seems, according to BBC R4 this evening, that they might even have been using Google translate to do the work for them. https://www.euractiv.com/section/uk-europe/news/translations-of-british-brexit-plan-provoke-ridicule/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1531974460 https://www.ft.com/content/bc3153b0-8c10-11e8-b18d-0181731a0340
  7. It's not a case of making it "as frictionless as possible", it's more the case that it will be more porous than a colander.
  8. Which means that a 'hard' or 'no deal' Brexit is impossible.
  9. It would be absolutely impossible to police and control.
  10. GM, when are you scheduled to give your expert evidence to the enquiry?
  11. Didn't take you as a Guardian reader, even a 2 month old edition.
  12. There is one 'small' fridge and a fridge freezer. Is there a point to your statement ?
  13. That list simply confirms Trump as a narrow minded, tunnel visioned, isolationist.
  14. Cav and Kittel eliminated for being outside the time limit. As for SKY, I think they'll allow G to keep the Maillot Jaune for now, but Froome will then go for it on the last 2 competitive stages - the last big mountain stage, ( d'Aspin, Tourmalet, and D'Aubisque ), then the ITT on the day after.
  15. A lot of it is 'fashion', such as SKY fan-boys wearing the black kit with the blue stripe up the back. Personally I always wear predominatly white or brightly coloured tops, such as the old Mapei 'cube' design, plus my bikes are light colours - no excuse for a 'SMIDSY'.
  16. Would the mini-sub have caught fire as easily as his cars ?
  17. And Hilary Clinton got 65,853,514. #PopularVote #Majority
  18. (Sir) Cloudesley
  19. Trump now saying that he completely agrees with his intelligence agencies' assessment of Russian 'interference' in the 2016 election. A corkscrew is straighter than this goon.
  20. It's been said before, you can't use facts when 'debating' with GM.
  21. I didn't realise that the 2 poisoning victims were originally from Liverpool. That information never made the local news up here.
  22. Hammond

    Danny Ings

    No thanks.
  24. But isn't Donald merely acting in our best interests ?
