  1. Nah, it'll be a bit chilly but otherwise I can't see there being a problem. The main thing is the gales we've had up here for the last couple of days have died away.
  2. Just pray he doesn't have a bell.
  3. Are you capable of debating, or can you only throw insults around ?
  4. So, does the EPA 'have no problems' with fracking ?
  5. It's not the bits underground that are at issue - the chemicals used are poisonous to the water table, and well head fires are not unknown.
  6. Fracking is dangerous to the environment, and will not produce as much energy independence as it's proponents suggest. Admittedly I'm a bit biased as I live very close to a couple of the test bores. Would you like it under your house ?
  7. We scored 2 and didn't lose - progress on both counts.

  10. Assuming being on the bench as an unused sub counts as being 'fielded, he is not cup-tied for the Champions League; http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/uefaorg/Regulations/02/35/87/89/2358789_DOWNLOAD.pdf ( see article 44 ) If he was not 'fielded', as he stayed on the bench, then he is also eligible for the Europa League knock-out stages. ( Unless I am reading the UEFA regs completely wrong ).
  11. Why is that bad news ?
  12. The salary scales are in the Staff Regulations document, as I have pointed out.
  13. http://ec.europa.eu/civil_service/job/official/index_en.htm SalaryBasic monthly Commission salaries range from around €2,300 per month for a newly recruited AST/SC 1 official to around €16,000 per month for a top level AD 16 official with over 4 years of seniority. Each grade is broken up into five seniority steps with corresponding salary increases. Basic salaries are adjusted annually in line with inflation and purchasing power in the EU countries. The complete salary table is available in the Staff Regulations (Article 66). ( Follow the Staff Regulations hyperlink and look for article 66 - page 54 on the PDF version )
  14. What would the outcome be if we held an 'Eric Black - in or out ?' poll ?
  15. As yet, nothing has changed. Come back in 2 years and see where we are.
  16. Who's behind the grassy knoll ?
  17. It's Heisenberg, QED.
  18. I deliberately ignored all of this afternoon's football. It seems I made the right decision.
  19. There are many contenders, yet the one you quoted isn't one of them.
  20. So the current lot have been in charge for 3 years, and have clearly had us in a death spiral since the Don left.
  21. But, are the Board interested ?
