As I stated above, Russia's position is that it is protecting it's interests and the ethnic Russian majority from a western instigated coup against the democratically elected Government of Ukraine. The broader picture almost certainly includes continued access to naval and air bases on the Black Sea.
-
But both Kruschev and Stalin where working on the basis of a unified USSR - an independent Ukraine wasn't a consideration in the 1950s, that only became possible post-Gorbachev. As for the democratic vote - the last election in Ukraine elected a pro-Russian Government, and the Crimea is due it's own vote in a couple of months - when the nearly 2/3rds ethnic Russian majority will get their way.

Did he use them for halal chips ?
-
Because their view is that they are protecting ethnic Russians from a western induced coup-d'etat that has deposed a legitimately elected ( pro-Russian ) Government. Russia's constitution enables them to take any action necessary to protect ethnic Russians wherever they may be.

I ask again, what would you want them to do ?
-
MoPo last 18 - how many without Lovren, Boruc, or Wanyama ? And you can hardly count Sam G as a differential between the 2.
-
What exactly would you want them to do ? Ukraine is effectively 2 countries due to the distribution of the major population groups, and the ethnic Russian citizens will always look to Moscow before they look to Kiev. The situation harks back to Stalin's regime and his forced resettlements.

Suarez conned the ref but Fonte made it easy for him to do so.

The GP wasn't asked - mind you, given the evidence of so many others, it probably wouldn't have made any difference to ATOS's decision if he had been.

"Dr Ward, from Bampton Medical Practice, said he had not been contacted by either Atos or DWP about Mr Wood’s medical history, and revealed that if they had asked for his professional opinion he would have said Mr Wood was unfit for work. "

If it's Saints in the EPL this season I'll take it.

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

We're going a bit off topic here, but following the epigenetics trend - another link to a discussion of identical twins that shows how their DNA, identical at conception, may be varied by external factors : http://learn.genetics.utah.edu/content/epigenetics/twins/ -
Isn't that still more than the Skates took to Wigan in the PL ?
-
You're getting as depressive as Alps. Man up !
-
So it's as well we garnered enough points in the earlier games to put any possibility of relegation out of the question. If we continue at 1 point per game we''ll have 50 points at the end of the season.
-
Over the last 16 EPL games we are 12th on form, over the last 10 we are 8th, over the last 6 we are 8th. ( Over the last 27 games we are 9th ). Before the WHU game our league form was WDDWDW. I'm OK with that.

Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?
badgerx16 replied to Pastor Patrón's topic in The Saints
See post #37. I wasn't aware that the only responses permitted had to agree with the OP. If that is the case you should have made it a statement rather than an enquiry, ( much in the style of 110PerSaint's pathetic wind-up threads ). -

Taken after a Saints win. -

Probably because many posters will look at the title, and the fact that you initiated the thread immediately after a disappointing result, and will simply pass by without commenting. It's the sort of thread that attracts a disproportionate number of a posters with a certain reputation or agenda. -

[h=2]Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?[/h]Yes - if only because I don't think there's a suitable replacement at present and it would be the guarantee that our season has ended. As it stands I am confident that we can beat LFC, and do not share the view that finishing 8th is 'nowhere'. -
Glasgow goes quiet and then 5 minutes later 110% turns up...........
