He's my daughter's MP, well liked in his constituency.

The distraction for me is that due to retakes and changing camera angles, there is little or no continuity in the background, and my wife and I are constantly going 'that's on the road to...' or 'we went past there the other week', let alone that some scenes jump by miles. I spent five minutes of this episode trying to place a car park he drove past as I could remember parking on it.

Not sure about that, but my wife likes Iron Bru.

One system uses larger constituencies, each electing 1 or 2 'local' MPs on a transferable votes basis, and then padding out the overall voting proportions in Parliament from national party lists.
