  1. It never has up to now, why should you expect it to be different this time around ?
  2. Would that be the Gordons ?
  3. I don't think they will gain any seats, Labour will swing a few northern marginals, and the Cons may also lose a couple to UKIP.
  4. Which clan's tartan would that be ?
  5. It doesn't ! I'm a staunch republican, and as far as I'm concerned they are all a waste of space. The only thing that the Queen achieves is to keep her idiot son off the throne.
  6. If she wishes to live her life quietly and productively, she is welcome to do so. The problem is she won't be allowed to because of the industry looking for every profit making opportunity she will endow; the media frenzy that operates around the 'majesty' and 'history' into which she has been born; and the blind, unthinking, subservience that the Monarchy installs into many of the populace.
  7. There are feckless waistrels at the bottom of the social pecking order, and there are pointless, over privileged, faux-celebrities at the top.
  8. Oh dear. Here's a little education for you; http://www.worldstandards.eu/cars/driving-on-the-left/
  9. This. Other than keeping the paparazzi in employment, and helping a proportion of the nation's teenage boys to successful wet dreams, what will she contribute ?
  10. We don't, you do.
  11. This is currently post #5 on the main board 'Weekend's other games' thread :
  12. Possibly this goes back to the time when sailing ships didn't have central rudders, but had a "steerboard". By turning to the right, the 'steerboard' side, they ensured that the board stayed in the water - turning to the left could cause the ship to heel over and lift the board partially out of the water, reducing it's effect. When aviation started it simply adopted the maritime practice.
  13. Just for you lot I took a selfie :
  14. Tell me why.
  15. Political compass thingy : -6 -6 As for the leader's 'Question Time', I didn't watch it, and probably most of the electorate didn't either, so I doubt it will actually have swayed anybody's voting plans.

  17. And because a significant number of young, potentially disenfranchised, voters read and agree with what he writes. ( To be honest, I'm an older and potentially disenfranchised voter, and I agree with some of it ).
  18. No, they just want a society where everybody is earning 'above average' wages.
  19. Whilst the nasty party squat in Mordor, with 'call me Dave' sat high in Minas Morgul casting his evil eye over public spending and letting IDS lead the Conservative Central Office orcs in laying waste to the benefits system.
  20. You need to be very careful how you steer in Sarnia, you might risk a traffic violation.

  23. Are you following the threads of conversations, or randomly spewing out answers to individual posts ? i said you were supposed to be on the 'civilised' side of the border, your reply to that was that there is 'no difference', hence my query about fatalities suffered whilst running away from traffic stops. Canada has already been brought into the thread at several points, and it has even got as specific as discussing Sarnia itself, but perhaps you can't remember that far back.
  24. Never understood that line of argument, we have 1 more point than we started the game with.
  25. So, how many people have been shot dead running away from a traffic stop in Canada ?
