Can anyone spot one notable ommission from his list of former clubs? They are very bitter aren't they.....
And talking about Dickson, I would assume he is being consoled over his lack of playing time by his other half and from her twitter pic I wouldn't imagine that is too much of a bad thing for him...
He scored a few very important goals that played a part in our promotion so he did his bit. However, we are no longer in L1 and this is his level. Nothing wrong with that, but a move back to L1 would do him good. (same could well be said of Dickson too)
I actually thought the team that lost 5-1 was stronger than I was expecting when I saw the result. Dickson, Fonte, Ward Prowse, Dean, Reeves, Forte, etc. I was expecting a load of kids I had never heard of.
Well Barnard didn't do anything of note mid-week for the reserves.
Would be harsh not even to have Connolly on the bench on Saturday considering he scored against 'Boro last Sat.
He played in the reserves 5-1 defeat mid-week. I would doubt that he is match fit enough for the first team yet. Given the (ludicrous) 5 sub rule that is in effect we can really only afford to have one striker on the bench and that would have to be Connolly.
Blackpool could well be a danger to us in the second half of the season. Their defence is the pretty much the same as the one that coped so well in the Prem for the first half of the season and they have just added Lualua to the squad so Phillips was only on the bench last night.
He does call Lallana a 'genius' on a recent tweet tho, so he can't be all bad. Is the "anything's possible who knows" comment in reply to a Saints fan hinting about him maybe playing for us again when his loan expires???
In the words of Alan Partridge, "you daft racist!"
It's actually one home game at 3pm this side of Xmas for Spurs.
In any case, none of the tv moves have ANYTHING to do with foreign tv market. Spurs play in the Europa league on a Thursday so all games after a European week will be moved to Sunday. All other moves are to do with the UK tv audience.
