Price always matters. If we spent £100k on long then it would not be unreasonable for the club to get another striker to come in. It's like Osvaldo was just fine at £15m or what ever it was. When he clearly wasn't Long is up there as one of our most expensive players in history. IMO he needs to be a lot better for us to justify that. I have always hoped he got a run as a central striker at the expense of Pelle. Now it seems he will and we can finally have a proper look at him.

That is fine. But does not mean he should ever be the automatic pick to start that he is. I think he has been subbed about twice since he has been here and only dropped once outside of an injury. He all round team play is atrocious in most games.

Why is he expected to play every week? He should never be the automatic pick that he is. He is a decent player and as other have said, could be useful in certain games. But the automatic first choice with the attack shaped round him was woefully not working this season (or this calendar year) in the main Kind of done us a favour that he is out for a few weeks

they have a fair few injury problems I think in all parts of their side and have been on a poor run like us recently far more confident after the drubbing we gave arsenal draw at least IMO I think it is at 1730 due to us playing at 1945 against arsenal. to give us a tiny bit extra of recovery time

More pace, more aggression, got the ball forward far more quickly and most importantly, to wo pacey, busy fellas up top. playing a static pelle was killing us shlong was my MoM. just an absolute nightmare all night. the corner he won for our 3rd would never ever have happened had pelle been on the pitch we made their defenders face their own goal time and time again and got the ball forward a lot more quickly brilliant performace and Stek had little to do shouts to Martina, Clasie, Vic
