IMO, absolutely
-
Captured everyone's imagination then
-
agree. very hard for a club like us to replace him...
-
many reasons for a player that is as good as him
-
The Irish FA got £5m for a dodgy referee decision, basically
-
can't remember if the Irish appealed or not
-
He is below fernando and Fernandinho in the pecking order then. Hardly a vote of great confidence He will play in central midfield (when not being played CB, Wing Back, Winger by rodgers) with Henderson......wow
-
one of, if not the highest wages bill. Owner converted millions of debt (from spending) into shares and all that
-
like I said, in an emergency, we would be able to host a world cup. I do not care what the current FIFA rules are. In an emergency, rules would have to be relaxed and we would be able to host a world cup Now, if we were awarded the 2022 world cup in/by 2020. we would be able to host a full on world cup. not too sure what you need to argue that point. it is clear we could on either instance
-
how do you know for a fact you cant play football on twickenham. When money talks and all that I could not care less if I named 10 stadiums in London. If an emergency happened, we would be able to hold a world cup at very short notice
-
which is a good thing. I remember when united were slated for releasing a new kit every year. now people want more
-
other managers have gained promotion on a shoe-string from the NPC
-
Wembley Olympic Stadium Twickenham Emirates Villa Park Old trafford St James Park Stadium of Light Molynuex (sp) Anfield (about to be extended) Etihad Stamford Bridge I think we do have the facilities Throw in redeveloped White Hart Lane Throw in grounds like SMS which would be fairly easy (and quick) to add an additional tier

Victor Wanyama tells The Sun that Arsenal want to sign him
Batman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Why is alex crook a scummy **** when it is victor saying he would like to join arsenal? -
I hope Qatar has the World Cup removed from them One of the most ridiculous sporting decisions in my lifetime
-
Promotion from league 1 That season was the very minimum requirement. A league 1 side with Lallana, lambert, fonte, Davis, schneiderlin and chamberlain Jesus won't see a comparable side like that again in division 3. The season in the NPC was fantastic though
-
Is rather have see reed in midfield than Toby
-
Anyone excited for this? Seen all the buzz about it on here lol I doubt I will watch any of it. But still does not stop members of the England team saying it will be as good as the blokes tournament Ladies football is dire and the keepers provide some real slapstick comedy for the news clips
-
Agree with the above. That last battle just made shyt get a whole lot more real
-
DONE DEAL: Saints sign Maarten Stekelenburg on season-long loan
Batman replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
He joined a lower league though -
quite funny how the the country that is up there in caring for the actual game of football the least is causing the biggest storm lol

Just on the news that the FBI are now investigating Blatter
-
Gregg Dyke on the radio saying; We will work with David Gill to push very hard for much more transparency within FIFA Something has happened to make Blatter resign. A few days ago, he was incredibly arrogant Very little evidence to suggest 2018 world cup is on dodgy ground lots of evidence regarding 2022 it is absolutely ridiculous that a tiny nation from a far flung part of the world has the same weight in FIFA as say Germany, Spain or England Many of these lesser nations voted for Blatter as he ensured that they got plenty of money. FA's like in England, Germany and Spain do not need FIFA's money so these small nations should not be worried that their life lines (in most cases) will be stopped
-
David Gill being vice president is a good thing in all this
