It's a tough decision, and the real problem that Les Reed is facing at the moment is that he has no obvious hair apparent. Good night.
-
Indeed. Not a man that Les could easily brush off, or part with.
-
To be fair, Pellegrini does have an excellent, if slighty wild, mane of hair when considering his age. Emery has a solid thatch but a bit on the greasy lothario side. Howe, slightly Koeman-esque side-parting but a lot less naff and ginge. FdB will need to raise his game.

Agree with the points about A.V.B's barnet btw and have had this conversation several times with a mate of mine. Better than Pelle's rug IMO - lovely natural wave and sheen.
-
Not the usual profile of manager we look for, granted, but we are talking about a guy who won the PL three seasons ago, has managed Real Madrid, and got Malaga to the QF's in the Champions League. Could do a lot, lot, worse and would be far bigger profile than Koeman was when he arrived at the club (in managerial terms).
-
Wasn't there talk of him being interviewed by Reed when Poch left (along with Bruce and McLaren)? Point being that he may very well be interested, especially when factoring in Crook's incredible ability to get everything wrong.
-
Emery, Sampaoli, Howe, De Boer, A.V.B, in that order of preference. A lot better selection of managers potentially available than when we last recruited, at least. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Wonder whether Les, Gaz and Ralph will re-think having that meeting now? Possibly they'll consider a (tentative) threat of legal action against Everton for tapping up. Oh well, at least our nicey nice board had a lovely little article written about them.
-
Whatever the outcome, seems a bit daft to plant this in the Torygraph before a new contract was even sorted.
-
Wilson is a Saints fan, is he not?
-
I don't think I was ready for this, Jelle. Match was already at half time.
-
Might explain the sudden u-turn with regards to Atletico behaving 'incredibly professionally' throughout the Toby saga. Would be a class signing.
-
10% of 32,000 = £6500?
-
So long as Van Dyke Parks those issues, it will be all smiles.
-
I actually like the green kit. Gaston's hair is also much improved.
-
Did Martina actually touch the ball in that half?
-
Pretty much this. Think he is an honourable guy and will see out three years, but I don't expect more given the average tenure of a PL manager. Like Swansea, the structure of our club is built to cope when he leaves and the continuity of backroom staff and our football philosophy is what ultimately provides the stability. I think Eddie Howe will be our next manager personally.
-
Cabaye would have solved our ineptitude at set pieces in a flash.
-
Pretty gutting to be honest. Don't really understand how this has all unravelled but it seems pretty bonkers that we had first option, a permanent transfer clause that was never deactivated, and seemingly, the will of the player, but we have lost out. Not to mention the fact that we were (eventually) prepared to gazump Spurs' offer. Wonder why Atletico seemed so unprepared to deal with us? Lets hope our lawyers do the business and Atletico and Spurs get hit by hefty transfer bans/fines.
-
In response to the Guardian article. They don't have to have acted in good faith but surely Mitchell, and therefore Levy, knew about the terms of the clause?
-
If Mitchell was aware of the clause, which he surely must have been, I fail to see how Spurs have acted in 'good faith'.

Ross Wilson doing an impressive job so far. Looks like the black box is in safe hands.
