Can't Shoot Can't Defend Gave up at 2-0
-
Another half, another game where we display inept finishing and let the opposition score their only good chance (that they only have because of a silly mistake)
-
Harsh on Ramirez not to make the starting 11 after his performance last week.
-
I'm surprised they haven't announced their end of season "We beat Southampton" boat party yet.
-
Negatives Lambert: Really poor again, he's lucky Carroll has hardly played this season. Rodriguez: Can't pass, prone to heavy touches and can't shoot to save his life if he is given time to think. Shaw: Caught way too narrow for their third, not his best game. Mind you, Rodriguez doesn't really help him much. Lallana: Should have scored twice. Still, he kept going to the end at least. Schneiderlin: Rarely showed urgency. Yoshida: Good goal, but ****ing hell he was poor defensively today. Fonte: Not much better. Davis: Hard worker, but against teams that are happy to defend and get goals on the counter or from set pieces he lacks quality. Positives: Ramirez: MoM for us, pulled the strings and contributed to a number of attacks that should have resulted in goals. Will be disappointed if he does not start next Saturday.

Pretty ****ing hopeless really. Played well until the linesman ****ed us over but that was the 11th minute. Once they got the second, they narrowed up and sat deep, a tactic that usually works against us.
-
It would be awful, he'd fill the team with talentless bodybuilders. Oh yeah, he's failed at everything that isn't wrestling such as his American Football league and his bodybuilding league

The club is no longer run FOR the fans...............

Phone voting is passé, it's all about twitter now Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC 1h Who do you want to play up front for #saintsfc this afternoon? RT for Lambert or Fav for Gallagher #WHUSOU -
https://audioboo.fm/boos/1925035-luke-shaw-talks-to-bigadamsport-after-saintsfc-s-1-0-facup-defeat-at-sunderland Luke Shaw saying what Perez wouldn't. Apologised to the fans who made the effort to go up there and admits they weren't good enough.

If MP is here next season and we do sneak into the EL via 7th place, I dread to think who he'd send out for those games given it's the only competition he has rubbished in public.
-
Absolute ****, somehow even worse in the second half. Clyne Guly JWP Kelvin Yoshida All showed they have no business starting for us. Lambert was awful and I don't think Lallana has ever played that badly as he did in the second half.
-
Poor first half. Guly and JWP have been ineffective, Kelvin can't kick a football, Lambert is not holding the play up well and Sunderland are having a bit of success getting in between Clyne and Yoshida.
-
Davis + Jos in the same side = may as well add one to Sunderland's goal count now since they will individually do something stupid or combine to cost us.
-
I thought we wanted to win this.

https://twitter.com/JanAageFjortoft (player who has played under Magath) has been tweeting some old stories His antics may at least entertain fans of every other team in the league.
-
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2012/oct/08/bundesliga-felix-magath-wolfsburg This will end well for all at Fulham
-
Completely, their owner must absolutely desperate to get a piece of that new TV deal.
-
Given that they let Meulensteen bring in 7 players in January including a deal that cost 11m, it is ridiculous. Not even given the time to get them all into the team.
-
Meulensteen sacked by Fulham and replaced by Felix Magath. Last roll of the dice it seems
-
He has been injured for the last 12 months.
-
Chance Davis and Rodriguez might not be fit for the game it seems
-
Yeah Isgrove was ****e today, hardly noticed he was on. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Reality is reality. We don't have Ince or Zaha and and no amount of complaining will conjure up a new signing. MP is stuck with the squad as it is and he also knows that with our league campaign having turned to an event less walk towards mid-table anonymity, playing for the draw is pointless. The manager had a player on the bench who plays a position we were lacking during that second half and instead of taking the chance, he decided to take the safe option.
-
You could complain about the lack of options on the bench all you want, but he had a winger and a midfielder with the kind of crossing ability that would have caused havoc in these conditions there and he didn't use them when he should have. You can't complain about the subs not being good enough if you don't allow them on to the pitch to try and make a difference.
-
MP seemed to settle for the draw, had a winger on the bench and didn't use him even when it was obvious Stoke were crowding out the centre second half.
