Great run Davis, Lambert should've buried that.
-
You! How much space do they want to give Shaw?! Great ball for Lambert.
-
I prefer to look at is as Cork getting a well deserved rest, he's been immense for us - big shoes for the big man to fill. Hope to see more of a threat from our midfield today, the only pace we have is in our full backs and Lallana. Hopefully JWP's set pieces are up to standard this week!

Never understood why some players as good as Jack Cork, who also happens to be English, always seem to have incredibly low transfer fees bandied around - as good as he is, I'm pretty sure Luke Shaw isn't 10x better than Cork? So why do the media talk about £30mil for Shaw and £3mil for Cork? I'd rather keep hold of Cork than Ramirez, and I wouldn't want Ramirez to go for less than £10mil, and I imagine many would agree with me. Cork is worth more.

Love the Poles, there's a fair few at the university with me, and consequently in Portswood/Swaythling area. Always seem charming, and most of them have a better grasp of the English language than the average Englishman.
-
I agree entirely. How many Everton fans last year were saying they've hit the glass ceiling and they'll never finish anywhere near Man U, let alone above them?
-
I dunno, it's voted for by the players, and I can't see too many of the many defenders he's cheated voting for him.

Barry, we've been through this. Guly was bought for a good price when we needed him, and served us well. I know it's hard for you to comprehend, but we have improved as a team and he is now out of his depth in this league - we all agree on this, but to suggest that he always was and always will be useless is harsh. Ramirez is clearly not sh*t. I believe it was you speaking of Goatboy's "agenda" earlier? How do you spell hypocrite again?

Blackpool vs. Burnley kicks off at 5.15pm, it's on Sky Sports 1 with Ings playing upfront for Burnley. Haven't seen him play since before Christmas, could be interesting. Vokes out injured.

Come on guys, you all know Barry Sanchez has a point - we're all dreaming, Cortese's been feeding us lies and false hopes, we've reached our glass ceiling and can never go any further. We're never going to get out of League 1 and it's time we accepted it.

The PFA list is: Luis Suarez Daniel Sturridge Steven Gerrard Eden Hazard Yaya Toure Adam Lallana

19 years old, seems like a great guy, and a damn slight better at his job than Walker or Johnson. Surely the Euro 2016 RB slots must be Clyne and Chambers?
-
Good shout, Saintru, I agree with you: I don't think he'd be any good for us.

There are similarities between the happier ones

You have officially lost it, Barry. -
Can't say I'm shocked to find Glasgow reads the Daily Mail. The two go hand in hand.

Chemistry exams in May/June for me, in the second year of my degree at Southampton Uni - bricking it somewhat! On the upside, I've made things easier for myself by choosing an elective module in first-year physics with material we've already covered and a multiple choice exam
-
Scratch that, two dives from Suarez and two phantom penalties for City.
-
Watching MOTD now, Clattenburg again chickening out of giving decisions against the home team - City should've had a penalty and Suarez should've been off for diving when already on a yellow.
-
Similarly, Chamakh.

Don't think Lambert will hack it though, old and past it. Need to bring someone in, Grant Holt perhaps?
-
No doubt, certainly the best of the three. I think we should try the other two together though against arguably the weakest team in the league - if Morgan were to pick up an injury somewhere I'd rather Cork and Wanyama not be playing together for the first time against Arsenal or someone. This is the game we can most freely experiment and still be fairly confident of a result, and if we were to lose (basically depends on whether Marshall and Mutch are on form), it's no big deal.
-
Because we paid £12.5m for Wanyama, he must be better than Cork, right? I'd still like to see Cork and Wanyama start together with Morgan on the bench, see how that works out.
-
Part of me wants us to keep him because he's clearly got talent and could do wonderful things. The other part of me wants us to sell him ASAP just so Alpine will shut the hell up.
-
Just above those incredibly loyal Man U fans too. I bet you'd never see a banner flying over Fratton Park rallying against their manager! Although whether that's because collectively the fans can't get together a full set of teeth - let alone the money needed to hire plane and banner - or because they can't keep hold of a manager long enough to organise a banner with the right name, I don't know.
-
Source on this please? Or are you yet another 'ITK'? I prefer to be optimistic - we'll be challenging Spurs and Everton next season
