Our favourite journalist Alex Crook has also suggested this. Great news! A couple of quality incoming players and no major outgoing players would be a great result. A huge contrast from earlier this Summer at the peak of the 'meltdown'.

Kačaniklić would also fit our transfer policy of signing players with unusual accents in their name. I would be pleased if we signed him or Mané, I think Redmond would be my 3rd choice from those three.

I'm only speculating here but as the accepted bid for Mané came out of the blue yesterday, a flight may have been hastily arranged. As Munich is up to a 2 hour drive from Salzburg maybe he didn't have enough time to make it if he got caught in traffic or was delayed. I still think this one still has legs as the information seemed to originate from Sky Sports yesterday which is a good a source as any.

I can confirm the above is true.. He was booked onto a flight from Munich to London yesterday but never made it.
