  1. To be fair Levy generally doesn't miss a mBeat.
  2. Yeah, I was just trying to do banter CB Fry style and got it a bit wrong. Live and learn and all that jazz.
  3. Wow, you're even misunderstanding what you wrote now. Congratulations, that's a new PB for you.
  4. Oh, really?
  5. On a text during the night from a mate.
  6. Hearing that Arsenal may well be back in the running...
  7. Gaston to stay hopefully. Seems like a good lad, lost his way a bit. Got to be a decent option further forward though.
  8. He got injured once last season didn't he? Before that I thought it was just Bodgers didn't rate him? Was excellent when he came into the Liverpool side last season, look at their form with and without him last year. Until his injury in Feb, 8 wins in 12 when he started. When he didn't start, 3 wins in 11. After that injury was when Liverpool then struggled again...It's not a coincidence, as the same happened in 2011 and 2012.
  9. The player who I think would be good to bring in who would be low up front cost (bit possibly bigger wages) is Lucas Leiva. Very decent player to shield and also keep hold of the ball.
  10. Said this when we were being linked with him. Not as good as Austin, that's for sure, and it's debateable whether he's better than other strikers along the lines of Ulloa. I think if we played Shane Long up top all season he'd be as good.
  11. Gueye is far superior to Cork.
  12. To be honest it's not the dress code that's embarrassing, it's the fact that a lot of fans look like trolls. I think there should be a ban on fat/short/bald fans travelling abroad. Oh, and anyone that wears chavvy tat like Stone Island.
  13. Potentially, although I think we are after 2 midfielders to help out after losing Cork as well, along with the fact that Davis isn't really that good in that further forward position.
  14. Cabaye wouldn't come in as a Schneiderlin replacement, they're very different players. I think he'd come in as a Davis replacement, which would be a massive upgrade.
  15. Exactly this, the 2 million and affording him isn't a problem to Saints. It's whether he wants to come here ahead of Spurs.
  16. That's the incorrect impression you have. We had a chance to purchase home for £6.7m. If Atletico didn't want to sell him to us/sell him tp someone else then they pay us the £2m. That's what is likely to happen. There is no way in hell we bid anywhere near £18m for him.
  17. He just meant season instead of year. Should be able to admit that though.
  18. Not yet, matter of time. Selling for this much is indicating an asset strip imho.
  19. It's been brought up on the Toby thread, and has been alluded to above by saying he's only getting Europa League football, and it's no better than here.
  20. Why are people saying that if Clyne goes to Liverpool, and if Toby goes to Spurs, they're not showing any ambition??? Liverpool and Spurs are both much bigger clubs, with more fans, will pay more, have a greater chance of winning trophies and are more likely to get Champions League football.
  21. Be disappointed if no Toby, that's for sure.
  22. You have to submit a transfer request to waive the loyalty bonus, which he hasn't done. Effectively he's said sell me now or I'll leave on a free next year.
  23. If we sell Clyne for £12.5m, and then sign Toby for similar I know which deal I'll be happier with.
  24. Ha, no that was the one I made up on Twitter and then the Daily Mail got hold of it! http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?42812-The-Twitter-Transfer-Rumour-Game&p=1602475#post1602475
  25. He does get injured a lot...makes 18m seem a bit high to me. Get nearer 15 and I'll be fine with that.
