  1. OK, so just talked to Mane's agent. They have offered €50m for him, we have turned down. Mane would like to move, not that desperately though. His agent has advised him not to move as he doesn't think it's the right move due to Van Goal. Agent seemed a lovely guy. However, Mane is a United fan. His agent did confirm he won't move this year. His name is Nicolas, and he is French. In other news, United offered €60m for Morata.
  2. Definitely not, but just caught him watching the Saints game on SSN. He actually just revised it slightly by saying he doesn't think he'll move. Gonna stop.harrasing him now...
  3. Just spoken to Mane and his agent, and they said he will not be allowed to leave before the transfer window ends. Sadio didn't seem too bothered about it. Nice lad. At the Winchester Hotel and Spa if anyone is interested.
  4. I wonder what the reaction of this board would have been if we'd signed Sako from Wolves, and Palace had signed 21 year old Spanish International striker Juanmi. Just wonder.
  5. We are just bollix this season.
  6. I'm not saying we should, just that Spurs would block our bid. Dembele is very good, under and misused by Spurs.
  7. Dembele is EXACTLY what we need, but Spurs wouldn't let him go to us, unless we sold Victor to them.
  8. Exactly the same with me and the missus, complete chalk and cheese!
  9. Brilliant, so your 'lies' are based on his assumptions that he knew Toby was going to Spurs, but still said he was coming here (which would an idiotic thing to do if he didn't believe it), and that the time between Gaston being welcomed back and his subsequent injuries, he changed his mind? In relation to Toby the impossible comment was due to the fact that Atletico weren't accepting our offers after getting ****ed off that we wanted our £2m. Top class work Charlie, really top class.
  10. Not sure Wanyama has even ever followed us on Twitter...
  11. Hahaha, that is brilliant!! Hang on... raccoon.
  12. Wow, this thread is classic. Firstly, we've got one poster saying we should be spending £45m on 3 players, ignoring the way we do business since Cortese left, FFP and wages. Then we have someone complaining that we aren't spending the same amount as we did on Mane, JRod, Lovren, Wanyama et al, even though that is exactly what we're doing. This board really is class, bravo lads.
  13. Interesting view on him on FiveLive last night from a local journalist. Says VvD is mutton dressed as lamb. Looks like a thoroughbred in the Scottish League, but as soon as he plays anyone even half decent he gets destroyed. I think the phrase was, "£10m, good luck to Southampton as he's not worth anything near that much!"
  14. Agree with this. AMC desperately needed.
  15. As I said a few weeks ago, he's fine, bit he's not that good. Not sure why everyone thinks he's the be-all and end-all.
  16. Clasie to take the Davis role further forward...
  17. Does your, erm, indiscretion, stop you from emigrating anywhere, or is there a time limit to it? Bet it would be amazing for cycling...
  18. He can be a Historian of the game, doesn't mean he actually 'gets' the game of football.
  19. What was your point, answer the question? Surely if you had a problem with understanding the post you should have replied to VFTT and not myself? So why did you reply to me in a sarcastic manner (you're first post on this thread as well)? For someone who says they don't pick me out, you have a surprisingly good ability at doing so.
  20. Either way, what was your point? That you misunderstood what he was trying to say? When you going to pussy out on coming for a drink with us again anyway ****lock?
  21. I think he means finishing between 8th and 12th and a cup run. That was how I interpreted it, otherwise it doesn't make much sense as a point? Nice to see I can have a few months in the background but you still like to follow me round.
  22. As a few of us said last season, we'll be fine. Not as good as last year, but fine. If people thought we'd be as good as last year though, I think they're pretty unrealistic in their expectations (naive I would probably say). Calm down, have a pint and a smoke and realise that last season will probably be the best season we will have for the next 10 years.
  23. *sigh* Ok, so what you don't seem to understand is that what Saints have isn't just a SQL database that they do SQL database queries over. Although this is what happens. They have an independently developed front end (and a very slick touch UI) that is unique to them. As is the data. I'm unsure what your point is, as I said the Software is generic, the bespoke changes (generally to fit the businesses requirements) is what makes it unique to Saints?
