  1. I'm happy to say I'm not. I'm not saying it doesn't happen in general, but in my life (and my families) it doesn't. But then I'm not a gay, black woman, so not the target audience.
  2. Honestly, I think it's to do with where you live/work, and the company you keep. I'm sure in some places it is more common, but they are such taboo's now that people tend to keep those views to themselves, if they have them.
  3. A bit like sexism and racism, I cannot remember the last time I heard something homophobic in public...
  4. Have to say I agree with this. There is so much hypocrisy about this kind of ****, it winds me up. Being gay isn't a big deal, but lets make an enormous deal about them coming out.
  5. I think one thing that everyone seems to overlook is that Lallana only tends to be useful when there is a big, skillful, striker involved, ie Lambert. When he doesn't have players like this to play off and buzz around then he struggles.
  6. This. I'm always a Ramirez apologist but he yes something to give the team.
  7. People not over the Lallana thing yet then? Can't say I'm bothered anymore, he's gone backwards and we've improved.
  8. I think that's excellent service to get a refund that quickly, they're under no obligation to do that. Well done Saints.
  9. Don't think it's reasonable to walk from the train station to St Marks square in 35 degree July weather. Teach me for being a cheap bastard.
  10. For me it depends on what deals to do with immigration we can get prior to the vote...DC needs to step up and see what he can get. If nothing, out.
  11. They're looking to buy on an urbanisation that has a pool, but will pass the rest on, cheers!
  12. One of my friends is looking to purchase an apartment in the Estepona/Duquesa area near Puerto Banus as a holiday home (not to rent out) due to the excellent exchange rate at present, and I said I'd see if anyone has any tips on either the areas or on purchasing abroad. So, do any of you guys and gals own properties abroad, and if so what do you think of it?
  13. The 4-1 was my favourite - it was the day my daughter was born and watching MoTD that evening was the best finish to an outstanding day.
  14. As previously said (a million times), he is fine as a player, but not brilliant, and he never will be. Hopefully the rose tinted glasses will now be taken off and we can just say 'thanks Jack and good luck'.
  15. I expected him to work his way back into the team this year, in that creative position behind Pelle we seem to lack. Fingers crossed this is the start of it.
  16. Don't forget that last season we played with a lot of emphasis on overlapping full backs. So far this season we haven't had that, so we haven't been able to play our standard game. Once Bertrand is back and Soares has improved his defending, I think our style will change. We're effecively one win off 6th, with an incredibly disjointed start to the season, disrupted with injuries. I'm not going to panic yet.
  17. Unfortunately, Dave, you are bang wrong. It's one minute past seven, it's your show, you're responsible for the output, I am technically a guest and you've failed to control me. Take a look in your cone-tract. Fannies.
  18. Hands up! Give me all your petrol.
  19. Who invented the skip?
  20. I don't think so, hence why I had to say it - but yeah all I could think of as well
  21. Boddie, that's Bill Oddie. Oh I thought it was another rude one. What's rude about a body? ...tits.
  22. "You can't Alan"...
  23. Really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday. The kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you just think 'Sunday, bloody Sunday'.
  24. He has runners on the wings, I feel he'd be better distributing the ball when Pelle knocks it down and comes short.
