  1. So last season it was Pellegrino, but this season it's the players? Why's that?
  2. You sound like Ralph and Les last season.
  3. And who picks the team? Who sets the team up?
  4. For some reason? For some reason everyone is very pro Hughes, irrespective of his recent record. We're losing 2-0. I don't rate him. What else do you want me to post about?
  5. Hughes IS the issue. Why aren't people getting this? Amazed at how people will try to make excuses for him. Last year it was Pellegrino. This year it's the players.
  6. This is what the Burnley game was like, but Everton are taking some of the multitude of chances.
  7. Just because you don't like to hear it, tell me why I'm wrong instead of just throwing insults.
  8. Absolutely...but I've been saying that since March.
  9. We're a very poor team, with a very poor manager. We need to get Hughes out ASAP and get in someone who can coach a defence.
  10. Cardiff, Huddersfield, us.
  11. Well, that's not the term they use in the NFL for those injuries, so I'm more likely to go with their interpretation. Yep, seems those injuries were left off the list. Not as promising as I hoped.
  12. That was a minimum fee though - he would have been nearer the £30m mark otherwise.
  13. So, we needed a striker. So that's a start. He's certainly better than nothing. Next thing - how long has he been fit for? When was his last serious injury? In relation to being "injury prone", we're his knee injuries bad luck, or were they breaking down on previous injuries? According to TransferMarket his injuries are as follows: 2013/14 - Torn Ankle Ligament 2014/15 - Hamstring injury 2015/16 - ACL rupture 2016/17 - Knee op (non-cruciate and other knee) So only one soft tissue injury (that is usually what indicates injury proneness). See Daniel Sturridge. I think people are over-reacting to ******** they've read on here myself - you have to trust the doctors who carried out the medical. The club won't just push it through as insurance wouldn't cover the player otherwise. I think he'll do us alright.
  14. I'm assuming we think Targett can play RWB.
  15. It'll be interesting to see what people think when we have 6 points through our first 9 game...
  16. He's just turned up outside Staplewood in a big yellow taxi.
  17. He's not highly rated anymore though...
  18. Well, that makes sense - I have outlined that and would be inconsistent if I didn't.
  19. My expectations are less than 14/15. I fully expect us to go down.
  20. But surely having Mark Hughes is enough. He has a better squad than Pellegrino, and is a far superior Manager. As I have been told over and over - he's not going to do worse than Pellegrino, is he?
  21. Exactly this. You're going to have to go contrarian again buddy, as everyone is starting to agree with you...
  22. Can we make this post a sticky please?
  23. I'm pretty sure the guy is turning into a parody of himself. He's the Danny Dyer of football forums (but far less intelligent).
  24. 3 months ago when we appointed Hughes in a FTC. That's what did it for me.
