  1. Well, by the look of things, not be Jeremy Corbyn would be a ****ing good start.
  2. How the flying **** has Corbyn not taken advantage of the worst Government we've seen in 40 years? Genuinely, I'm amazed. We're all worse off because Labour can't put up a decent alternative to the ****show we have now.
  3. So what we're saying here is that Mark Hughes is a better manager than Paul Lambert. *Slow hand clap*
  4. I just don't rate him, and unless we get another striker in he is the wrong manager for us as his teams are too poor defensively.
  5. Not really, no. Goals per game conceded: Mark Hughes 14 conceded in 9 - 1.55 pg MP 45 in 35 - 1.28 pg CP 48 in 38 - 1.26 pg But for me, it's more his record at other clubs.
  6. But Jack Schitt didn't do it in good faith, he was making it all up. Did you really think it was anything but a chance for creative writing?
  7. I'd spend £20m plus add one TBH...
  8. We need a striker though to outweigh the issues caused by Hughes poor defensive management.
  9. What's Divock Origi up to? May be worth a punt if he's decent value - I can imagine if starting he could get a decent amount of goals.
  10. Well VFFT is, but through his City and Stoke riding pals I believe. Plus I don't think he could give a **** whether he impresses anyone with his ITK status.
  11. He was a bull****ter Soggy, you know that right? He was entertaining to read, but made it all up and had a number of people hook, line and sinker.
  12. Offence wins games, but defence wins Championships.
  13. Because it was something that was out of the ordinary, which we had no control over (apart from the game between the two teams) and it resulted in us staying up. Statistically, how many relegated teams have got 3 or less points from their last 9 games? If you want to prove the absence of luck then fine, how about a statistical anomaly?
  14. You don't think it's lucky that Swansea City managed 3 points from their last 9 games? How deluded are you?
  15. He does deserve a chance. Doesn't mean I have to rate him. Not sure how that's a contradiction?
  16. It'll help us score more goals than the opposition - I don't think anything would really help Hughes defensively (unless a change in coaches behind the scenes) - he's proved time after time with different defenses that he's not very good.
  17. I am struggling to see why, when I didn't want him appointed because of his defensive record, and him keeping us up due to a poor Swansea side, why I cannot continue to be down on him? Why does this differing opinion offend you guys so much?
  18. My criticisms were over his ability to keep goals out. He hasn't shown that he can do that even with keeping us up. We were very, very lucky that Swansea were in such turmoil to end the season.
  19. Where have I said my opinion of him can't be wrong? I just think IMHO, that we will be in another relegation battle this season. Obviously I'll be very happy if not and will be happy to eat humble pie. However, I feel that I won't be.
  20. I think he deserved a chance, but I also think he needed a different back room staff, one that is proven to coach defences well. I get that my views on Hughes seem to be extreme, but he has done nothing in his (admittedly short) tenure to show that he can answer my criticisms of him.
  21. And I am still anti-Hughes, quite obviously. I think he did well to keep us up, but his record defensively has me very worried, considering how poor our central defence seems to be.
  22. And I am rarely that negative about the team. It reflects how poorly I regard Mark Hughes, and our transfer policy.
  23. Exactly my point, so then why are we all jumping to conclusions. It's the same as the Bertrand doesn't care narrative, because he doesn't smile.
  24. Well, to put it another way, Mark Hughes teams cannot defend. That's going to be a big issue. Personally, I think we're going down this season unless we pull a decent new striker out of the hat.
  25. The second part doesn't scream bad attitude for me, rather that is the type of player he is. Not sure about U23's as not seen that. However I have seen far more 'bad attitude' from Redmond on the pitch.
