  1. Okay and so Jamie Vardy, playing for Halifax town or something at 23/24 years old, the peak of his career supposedly... Guess he never made it to the top... Look all I've said with my post is that JWP should aim for the role Alli has with Spurs, I don't think he's good enough for a defensive/deep role and lacks the pace and ability to beat a man for a wing position. I'm not guaranteeing he will have a season with around 10 goals and 10 assists at one point in his career, but to rule it out for the future is stupid... Also, we'll see how Alli does in the next couple of seasons... High expectations can have dire consequences sometimes
  2. What he needs is a Dele Alli-esque season, think that is the role of the team he should be aiming for. He is still 21, I have more than hope that he will be a top half Prem player. I don't think he will play for a CL team though- I don't think he'll reach that level, but hope he does- and it is with us! MLG is right, time is on his side, and I'm just hoping that all this accumulating experience will lead to a few top top seasons- ideally he should try this in the 2017/18 season minimum.
  3. Not only does Yoshida get whipped by us fans and is the scapegoat, but also clearly his wife haha but in all honesty, I like the bloke, think he is a good solid Prem centreback, arguably a botton half regular- but hes done a job for us and with Fontes or VVD's direction, does a job if needed.
  4. I don't think he would have to rebuild at Everton every season unlike us. Also, traditionally they are a bigger club as others have said can offer more £££, and possibly higher wages/transfer pot.

  7. I hope we buy 2/3 players that cost less than a million, yeah it might have a bloated squad, but if we can unearth the next gem that would be amazing.
  8. The difference is Leicester finished 14th after their brilliant end of season campaign. We will finish top 8 at least. This makes our players far more sought after than Leicester, and we will probably sell. In addition, we certainly won't win the League if we qualify for Europe- too many games to juggle and all that. Finally, let us see how the scouts do this summer Just trying to save you the pound on us doing the unthinkable!
  9. Sorry guys, one last time, what happens IF Liverpool finish 8th and win Europa League, and we finish 7th + Man U win FA Cup? My guess is we don't qualify because otherwise there would be 8 teams from England in Europe as shown below: 1) Leicester- CL 2) Spurs- CL 3) Arsenal- CL 4) Man City- CL Play-Off 5) Manchester United- Europa League Group Stage 6) WHU- Europa League Group Stage 7) Saints- Europa League Third Round Qualifying OR NOTHING? 8: Liverpool- CL because they won EL 2015/16 Does this mean we lose our spot? Thanks in advance.
  10. Same as last season: After 3rd qualifying round, there is the fourth and final round known as the play off round before the group stage. We lost at that stage last season to FC Midjtylland :/ Hopefully one step further at least next time!
  11. No Pelle, Mane or Tadic, Long being interviewed for the 'best couple'/'most intelligent questions'... Anyone know why? Not saying they're leaving
  12. Just saw the goal. Very nice solo goal Hazard- ruined spurs season, now helping us with europe. Kinda liking the dude now
  13. Love how much coverage yesterday's game got from us fans- this one nowhere near as much haha. Obviously understand why, and I'm watching awards anyways lol.
  14. Guan vs kwsaint... Hmmm. I really really hope you are right though.
  15. His reaction on the bus was nothing short of shocking in all honesty. Imagine if someone did that during SAF's reign or Keane as captain Lingard clearly focused on social media than what was one of United's most important game of the season...
  16. On a side note, would you like to reveal the secret Guan said you know pleeease
  17. The Dell, Highbury, Maine Road... All stadiums which never got this sort if send off... Coverage was disgraceful in all honesty, and coupled with the result it's been a poor night really. However, we could still finish 5th, and the unlikelyhood of that gives me hope- if Leicester can win the league... We can finish fifth
  18. 'The football gods smile down on WHU' Jesus wept. Commentators ruined the game. At least they lost their penultimate game 4-1.
  19. 20 attempts to 3... Wow.
  20. Watch a sky sports stream mate. Mind you it's probably just as bad.
  21. Yeah but you would presume the top 7 all have a fairly similar record to that, except from Liverpool and Spurs maybe? I'd like to know in fact...
  22. I will give £100 pound to charity if we finish fifth.
  23. I always say- the top 5 disliked clubs for me is WHU, Spurs, Liverpool, Pompey and Brighton (not in that order). All for different reasons. WHU are generally known for hooliganism anyways- and films like Green Street only compounded that idea further. Any ways, come on United- I actually don't dislike Man U, their success came about by a person I respect- SAF.
  24. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11945/10276923/mark-clattenburg-will-referee-this-years-champions-league-and-fa-cup-finals Jesus Christ. The less said the better.
  25. I'd be disappointed if we didn't match West Ham's effort for Mark Noble- that one sold out I think and it was shown live. That is appreciation for a player- our ticket sales for Kelvin's been poor really- hopefully around 28000 can turn up. And to make it worse, I find it even more ridiculous that apparently the club sold out in tickets to watch some youtubers play! Pathetic!
