  1. Bryan Gunn’s glasses looking all funny.
  2. Max Aarons is down. Quick lads take a gel pack.
  3. I’d like to know too - it’s to the same tune as this one right?
  4. Jay Rod scored sitting I think it was Palace away in 2013/14. Salisu yellow card too now
  5. CHEES ADAMS
  6. Not gonna panic yet, will wait till around the 70th minute mark. I’d take a 1-0 win now.
  7. @Turkish Sky Sports have a little cameo for you - Max Lindsay, founder of Rainbow Saints and Rob Pearce, the D&I manager, on air.
  8. I love Ralph and his interviews I don’t think I know any other manager in the PL that comes out to chat with the pundits. The answers were open and refreshing, perhaps too honest when he was discussing the strengths of 4222 and how Arsenal’s goal is a good way to beat the system!!!
  9. This to me is generally the most important stat, then maybe with things like % of crosses claimed etc. Distribution is a bonus but I want my GKs to be largely focussed on shot stopping. No surprise to me that Gunn is at the bottom, I also feel when I watch Norwich highlights it seems that way too. Also, Foster's priority these days seem to be Youtube so no shock he is down there too. Although ofc both teams don't have the best back 4.
  10. https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/147195-southamptons-second-half-shenanigans/ The original poster has called us "dirty blighters".

  12. Also I'd like to think we're paying him close to £8m a year anyway. At United would they really give him £15m? They might give him £10m a year and after tax it wouldn't be a whole lot more. The Utd job is a different kettle of fish, they have title aspirations and it's an easier target simply to keep us up than it is to win the league with Utd. Having said that, depends if Ralph wants to retire in two years or not, he's in a cosy-ish job now but would have a lot more work if he managed Utd. I can see Ralph taking on a top Bundesliga side in 2024, like a Dortmund or a fallen giant over there, his stock is only increasing. It also brings him closer to his native Austria, and they have proper winter breaks and only 34 league games which he will prefer.
  13. Stephens two games in a row? Valery tomorrow night? Djenepo/Long/A Armstrong? I think with that team we’d be extremely underestimating Norwich. My preference is to go full strength tomorrow, if we go up 2/3-0 by HT then by all means take Broja, Romeu and Stuart Armstrong off, but we have a solid 4 days off before WHU and for me match fitness is more important than any risk of injury from playing tomorrow.
  14. I wonder what this is about - drug abuse or inappropriate chants? On your best behaviours tomorrow though lads
  15. Depends if he wants to drink right
  16. Found his next club after us
  17. Hmm I disagree. I just think we have the better coach/manager who has us playing with a system which is allowing our fullbacks to flourish, almost opposite to Man U. Having said that, they’re still 14 pts ahead of us but with the sorts of money they spend it should obviously be more. Too early to say Tino is better than AWB/Dalot but certainly in the future I think he can surpass them both.
  18. No way!!! I’d not donate 3 points for anyone in this league.
  19. Nope - I think they've scrapped replays from 5th rounds onwards a few seasons ago. There were no replays in the FA Cup this year after 3rd round (usually there are replays in 3rd/4th round but due to covid/postponements they scrapped it)
  20. Reckon if we win this Friday night Ralph should get manager of the month, even though it's likely Klopp will end February with a 100% win rate.
  21. According to Dan we've already given Macca a new contract so probably made the mistake already, especially if its a 3 year one. I can only hope the club gave him a contract on par with that of a 2nd choice, and not anything stupid like 75k or more. Otherwise we're going to have to loan him out for a few years to get rid, I doubt anyone else would match wages higher than £75k unless we hope someone like City/Chelsea/Utd stupidly opt to pay that to have him as a 3rd choice.
  22. Another medical emergency up at Sunderland tonight. Also, they are losing 1-0 at home currently to Burton Albion, and also didn't realise a 39 year-old Defoe started for them. I wonder how they must be feeling when you throw in Newcastle's new ownership situation too.
  23. Yep, Everton down would also be hilarious. I think one of the few never to have been relegated from the PL, might even bring some of their fans down a peg and I'd be very interested in their potential fallout re. players and manager. Newcastle going down would delay the inevitable but they'd just spend their way back up to the PL, probably break the 90 point barrier too and have a fun season anyway
  24. Nope everyone ie our first XI should play. Match fitness is very important and it’s why City also play a load of first teamers in their cup games against lesser opposition too.
  25. Major newspapers do it too - when it's really hot they use Fahrenheit to exaggerate things, and when its really cold then they'll shift back to Celsius!
