  1. It's been a terrible couple of years for the leslieites
  2. Little unfair to count games like that? He played in 24 but that includes games he got just 3-4 minutes in. He played a total of 1,000 minutes or equivalent to 10 full games last season in the league. Scored 7 Problem is he is likely to do same this season as he will not stay injury free it's safe to say.
  3. To be fair times have changed and most fans have now caught up. Took a while but they are now removing the rose tinted glasses I see only a handful of fans now with blind optimism and they are coincidentally "fans" you'd bucket in the "just happy to have a club" group. Every club has a handful like that. I think with the same management & same soundbites coming from the club a poor start will see fans react this season. Season ticket sales are well down too I'd imagine The recent mismanagement of the club could haunt us for a while I fear
  4. I think Big Leslie is like Carillo, FF, Clasie and Boufal, The club desperately want rid but we can't find any buyers. Perhaps well see Les loaned out before the window closes? I think the club expected him to do the decent thing and resign, probably underestimated his desire to squeeze us for every last penny.
  5. It's on channel 4!! Does anyone still use Kodi? Kodi is so 2016 Get terrarium for TV and Movies pal.

  7. Some Everton ITKs claiming it's closer to £20m guaranteed with some large add-ons including Everton winning the league. At £20m he's worth the gamble. Certainly looks better value than our Carrillo £20m
  8. Puel couldn't match Koemans record, Pellegrino couldn't match Puels #decline #momentumcurve #gettingworse #winningmentality
  9. Bertrand and Lemina the stand outs for me just now. I like McCarthy but won't get carried away just yet. Seen alot of keepers look decent when the goal is being peppered. David Marshall, Júlio César, Guzan and even Mannone looked v good in struggling sides
  10. I doubt it. Leicester have 4-5 of the best players outside the top 6 clubs and will /should comfortable finish top 10. It won't be pretty or exciting but I think even Pellegrino could get that squad into top 10 or better.
  11. Who would you nominate just now? Top 3 players at SFC just now?
  12. Chelsea and Bayern can afford a few cock ups HTH. We really can't afford and won't survive with the volume of poor signings we are currently making. We can flog a decent player (who can't) but unlike Bayern and Chelsea we can't offload our average/poor signings We are stockpiling average just now and it's killing us.
  13. More money down the drain.
  14. Its also commonly known as jealousy! Lets be honest if we had a passionate and talented manager like Klopp + a young, attacking, motivated and improving squad like Liverpool wed all be super excited for the coming season too. Our best hope this year is it might just be more exciting than the last 2 years (could it get much worse?) Levels of excitement and potential at both clubs are at the completely different ends of the spectrum. What you're feeling is envy.
  15. We sold them our captain, would not surprise me if we sold them our best player too In terms of current appeal WHU probably win, we are a "small club" don't forget.
  16. He had agreed a move to Sami Al Jaber in Saudi Arabia subject to our relegation. Even the Sami Al Jaber president (Al Hilal) confirmed the agreement. So he is apparently completely loyal but only while we are in the premier league and he is earning top $
  17. Also why loan him with the window still very much open? Could have agreed a loan with 1-2 days of window if no buyer was found. Clubs will get desperate towards the deadline and we've moved him out too early IMHO
  18. He scored 15 premier league goals in 33 games for Swansea. 2016-17 season Just because he didn't muscle Kane from the Spurs side doesn't make him ready for retirement
  19. Did a great job for Swansea when playing regularly
  20. P9 W2 D2 L5 after he came in. We did enough to survive but that was more down to how poor Swansea and Stoke were rather than our miracle turnaround
  21. Does hughes have a track record of it? Looking at his stoke signings and legacy ... No
