Not sure he's the Tadic replacement. Hughes said he didn't want to lose Tadic and has said they are different types of players

Samsies mate. Couple of early (decent looking) signings + new contract for our GK. Hughes making all the right noises n Big Leslie's 1st team influence reduced. Feels far more positive than the last 2 summers - fo'sho Tadic leaving cheaply could still hurt us, but if we add a couple more and keep key players we could be back in business.

Tbf if I was at a relegated club aged 35 with 1 year on my contact and the club demanded £10-15m to allow me to move I'd probably strike too.

Wilson has been with us since March 2015 and Leslie's title changed over a year ago. Les has had his mug over all player signings since Cortese left, even recently with Carillo in January. Something has recently changed and I'm personally delighted he has less influence on the 1st team. Suspect we have Hughes to thank for all this. We have a genuine chance to turn this Les Reed lead decline around now. COYR

Don't think anyone had thought or suggested that he would or had got the England job. Think some had just speculated that his responsibly and shackles "running everything" had been reduced after 2 heavy seasons of decline. Everything I've seen so far suggests that this is true. We are certainly seeing less of Les and that's got to be a good thing if we want to turn this decline around. Signings are positive and less of les is very positive. #WeMarchOn #lessofles I'm sure if the decline is reversed (I'm confident it will without Les interference) then Les will appear from that shadows and take full credit for everything again

Leslies influence has been reduced I believe. Will be interesting to see if we improve next season without his shackles. I predict we will. Leslie has been progress blocking us for too long baby
