Let's add Koeman to the comparative to make it meaningful. Comparing Puel / Pellegrino / Hughes is like comparing 3 turds and arguing about which is the biggest turd. If Hughes had followed Koeman and the feel good factor and momentum we had,I'd wager that his record would be way better than Puels. I said at the time that the Puel spell could take years to recover from and so it's proved.

As you say nobody is requesting change after the inevitable Liverpool defeat, but perhaps it's complete inevitability is a good measure of quite how bad we are now You think back to the squad, spirit and momentum that Les inherited, we were beating Liverpool, finishing above Liverpool, laughing at Liverpool..... Now look at us. A shambles, a huge decline all under Leslie's tutelage. To think Liverpools net spend this past few years is very similar to ours too so we can't even blame big clubs out spending us. We have a squad worth c£300m so investment in the squad is not the issue. Shopping budget has been decent, purchases far less so.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but club (IMHO) will not move forward again until this clown leaves. Don't blame Hoedt, don't blame Hughes, don't blame Lemina or our collective defense..... Don't blame anyone but LES "IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING" REED Blame the guy that has sold all our talent and overseen the horrible manager and player replacements.

850+ days since our last win over the top 6 in the league. Mental really when you consider our success in the previous 850 days (6 wins over top 6 in Koemans last season alone) We are certainly due one and stopping Liverpools blistering start would definitely wipe out alot of football misery from the past 2 years. Hoping for a miracle, expecting a 3-0 defeat.

I don't blame Hughes. He joined us during a HUGE decline and steadied us enough for survival. Fully turning this decline around could genuinely take years. Squad, spirit, confidence, expectation and that winning mentality takes time to build and with our current owner and off field management team we are pretty f*cked. Things aren't great under Hughes but would I swap him for Puel or Pellegrino.... NO CHANCE. Would I trust the Muppets that run this club to find someone better than Hughes.... NO CHANCE
