Because they're no longer playing a 4-man diamond midfield. Well, they didn't on Saturday. And with Ayew, Gomis, Montero, and Sigurdsson available, I see this continuing. Edit: as above (Wasn't posted at point of typing).
  2. We'll never live it down
  3. Tadic is done. Needs bringing off.
  4. Hesketh, for sure (in spite of his frame). Classy (potential) player.
  5. Jesus, long time no see.
  6. Cabaye official. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33474027
  7. Cheers. At the risk of sounding naive/ignorant, how will adding them as contacts manifest itself? Notifications about their posts? Or....other? Thanks in advance.
  8. As above, http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33161310
  9. Falcao to Chelsea near completion (loan deal). http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33155911
  10. How do you mean? Today?
  11. That Mirror article is nonsense, unsurprisingly.
  12. Micah Richards set for medical at Aston Villa. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/12/micah-richards-aston-villa-medical-manchester-city
  13. Cabaye wants out of PSG, seeks move back to England (not that I think we'll sign him). http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/12/yohan-cabaye-psg-transfer-premier-league
  14. Liverpool sign Adam Bogdan to replace Brad Jones. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33107895 Mamma mia!
  15. Right, so I know it's not *directly* Saints related, but surely the most pedantic of you understand that the transfer business of other domestic clubs impacts upon us. For this reason, I propose a general transfer window thread (encompassing the rest of the league and other transfers which may affect us next season), namely because I foresee Sterling talk exploding on the HCDAJFU thread. Liverpool reject a £25-30m from Manchester City for Raheem Sterling. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33104367
  16. Grealish will become a better AM (imo). Prowse will be a better CM.
  17. Oh pleeeeaaaaassssseeee.
  18. I'm not, *at all*, just found it to be slightly incongruous As you say, opinions, I.e. whatever P.S Ultimately, I was trying to assess whether you thought a £15m fee would make him a poor value signing/whether you'd pass at that price. Curiosity and all that.
  19. So at £6m he's a "cracking" signing, and at £15m he's what exactly? A lump?
  20. Reference all 4 playing, as previously posted, it's certainly an option, but I just can't see it working for the most part. Not least because it'll expose our new defensive unit (potentially 3 changes to back 5, 4 changes to back 7), which is not something I'd risk trading off given that it was the basis for our high finish this season. Furthermore, I wouldn't sacrifice our best attacking player (Mane) in his best position for the sake of shoehorning in another attacker.
  21. Haha, A+ for effort at least Cheers.
  22. Where? (I'm not cross-examining you here, i.e. it genuinely intrigues me).
  23. He doesn't...for now. I wouldn't hand a starting spot to someone who hasn't played in a year. Ultimately, someone's missing out - I can't see Mane, Pelle, J.Rod and Austin in the same lineup (not regularly at least). In the long-term....I think Pelle would miss out (all imo, of course). P.S How would you play it (them)?
