Huh?

No way, Jose. He'll duke it out with Pelle (at least he would in my team, with Mane behind). Who knows, with our wingbacks/(early season) crossing addiction, it may be appropriate at times (against mid-bottom table clubs) to play two FWDs (again, with Mane behind). Either way, Long misses out, that much I'm sure of (assuming Long was ever in contention for starting up top/at the point). Edit: Note, the above is my preference. I suspect (if he signs) he'd play just behind Pelle, with Mane shunted out to a wide.

I imagine that possibility is entirely dependent on the Pogba situation, rather than cup success.

Where has it been reported that he's going to be earning £200,000 pw? I've not seen that anywhere :S

DONE DEAL: Saints sign Maarten Stekelenburg on season-long loan

I don't disagree But sharing information is a resource all the same
-
I've links for the resulting split. Here, sir - http://www.uefa.org/MultimediaFiles/Download/OfficialDocument/uefaorg/Finance/02/11/95/44/2119544_DOWNLOAD.pdf To be honest, I'm having difficulty understanding how it's calculated because there's an overall pool of tv revenue which is then apportioned (proportionately) based on the national television markets. Problem being, I haven't been able to find any information on what the English market has been worth per season. That being said, you can work out that the shared value for English teams in the group stage was £4.51m the year before last (as shown by link).
-
For comparison, Tottenham (last 16) - £4.25m total. Swansea (last 32) - £2.88m total. Wigan (group) - £2.74m total. (13/14 season) Figures exclude gate receipts/other match day revenue. Furthermore, figures are expected to increase for the 15/16 season

People wouldn't click the link, nor be bothered to interpret it as The9 has for us - for which I thank him/her for, again.

Yeah, they'd have to clear £8.3m to 'break-even'. If that does indeed happen, you'd either have to A) question who the Hell is running Atlético, or B) assume Toby pushed for Chelsea, hence the hierarchy having to take a financial hit. At that price, surely they'd prefer to sell him to us, rather than a (potential) Champions League rival?
-
Hmm, I don't think so....because it'd be implied that he'd be going next summer (offers pending). It wouldn't be ideal of course, but the points remains, a long-term contract isn't the only option here. If Clyne wanted to wait for a top 4 club, and the club want to keep him, I can't see a problem with a 1-2 year extension.
-
"competition from Arsenal"
-
You're joking, right?
-
He could simply sign a one year extension. It doesn't have to be a long term deal. Besides, Clyne doesn't haven't to do toffee (agents).
-
He's also 3rd choice RB now. A shame, really. Who knows, maybe he'll become a regular there in 3-4 years (after having had his development stifled considerably).
-
Haha, that would make sense. Winking should be mandatory
-
How have you worked that out?
-
Isn't this just reporting after the fact?
-
The lack of comment/news articles gives you your answer (which I suspect you're aware of anyway )

Regards seeding, The9 made a few pertinent posts here - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?53764-Top-4-chance-now-gone-Europa-Thoughts/page8#.VWoAMHpwbqA

Thought as much (forum's playing up my end). No worries then. P.S cheers for letting me know.

This guy is costing in the region of £4.5m. Sissoko would cost us ~£20m.

Potentially - GK, RB, RB cover, CB, DM, Winger, AM, FWD. (assumes Clyne, Toby, Schneiderlin, Elia, and Djuricic leave) 4 changes to starting 11, that's quite a lot of change again (....I think).
