Coming round to Pellegrini. I sat watching Spain and thought that their manager is no spring chicken but look what he has acheived!. These managers do seem to jump ship quickly where as Pellegrini might be more likely to recipricate the need for stability. If he does get the job it will be interesting so see what his backroom staff will be and whether he will use Sammy.

Well at least we won in the end, still not impressed though. Although we applied loads of pressure I thought the final ball was absolutely dreadful. Air shots, woeful long range punts and lots of stray passing made us look distinctly average. It was like watching a bunch of players who hardly ever play together.......................oh!.
