what happens if Pinacle/MLT retain Wotte as manager
Saint Billy replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Its up to the new owners but I would be surprised if they keep Wotte on as manager. He was part of a failed experiment that went badly wrong. If we want to move on surely it is wise to bring in someone with some experience in the lower leagues and some success stories. I mean no disrespect to Wotte as he seems a nice bloke, but we need winners now. -
So glad you spent the time to sensationalise my post RinNY! Yes I have bought a property numerous times, and yes it does take time. Exactly what that has to do with my post god knows. Notice in my post the words "being picky" and "small contradiction". I was not banging on about how long the deal is taking, I was merely pointing out two sentences that seemed to be at odds with eachother. Get a life drama queen!
-
Very strange statement. Who does he think he is!
-
Being picky but there is a small contradiction in there. PINNACLE have assured Saints fans their takeover is “going to plan” and will be sealed before their exclusivity period expires. and If the deal can be confirmed quicker it will be, but all the available time could well be used – meaning things would go right to the wire.

Just because the investor may not a household name as alluded to by doggface, I suppose that does not mean that we have never heard of him/her! I would prefer a successful businessman rather than a celeb.

He deserves it after what he has done. No doubt some on here will throw their toys out the pram. Yes there is no doubting that he has made a few clangers but I have always believed that his heart is in the right place as far as saints is concerned.

If I remember correctly, Holmes was badly crocked by a poor tackle against brum in a carling cup game. He struggled for fitness the rest of the season. But from what I saw of him I thought he was a better player than Surman, more attacking, faster and more penetrating. If, and its a questionable if, he can regain full fitness I think he has more to offer us.
-
Exactly!. It seems that you will never be able to please everyone as far as saints as concerned. All I can think about is that it was little over a week ago that I was contemplating life without saints which was extremely depressing.

Wotte's job offer, Surman bid, Rasiak to go cheaply
Saint Billy replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
If thats the case then Man C are going to win everything next season. As you well know, it's not just based on throwing money at a club and they will be successful, it is also based on having a leader and an organiser otherwise the team will be running around like headless chicken. Most will be ignoring your comments NC but because of the supposed facts you state but more to do with the fact that your comments on here are soley based on getting a reaction, boosting your post count and bigging yourself up. -
Thanks for that Tony! It is very hard to understand that some will be dissappointed that all is going to plan. This site and others seem to be infiltrated by some with different motives, either pompey idiots trying to rock the boat or those with associations with the failed bidders. I am sure you realise that 99% of us are behind what you and your associates are doing and are praying for the day when all is completed.

Wotte's job offer, Surman bid, Rasiak to go cheaply
Saint Billy replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
As the meeting is today with Wotte and co, is there any signs of BBB, Bentleys, Bodyguards or Boats. -
Is there an initiation? I would love to be the Grand Master of ITK!

After reading Barry Hearns bitter comments about us and then noticing that Hearns club Leyton Orient had recently had its buyers pull out, I wonder if there is a link? The guy who headed the consortium interested in buying Orient was Terry Byrne, if I am not mistaken Terry Byrne is David Beckham's advisor and some media refer to him as Beckhams personal manager. Although Byrne said that Beckham was not directly involved in the buyout, but that could be a smokescreen and I would put money on the fact that in the future once Beckhams playing career was over he would be involved. Byrne has not got the personal wealth, it is the consortium who are the money men. Beckham has often been quoted as saying that he wants to buy a club once his playing career is over along with his mate Tom Cruise. Probably totally wrong but a couple of other clues seem to fit. Tom Cruise (wee man) Black and Gold (Galaxy away strip). Previous involvement in football (Byrne was Director of football at Watford) Been mentioned on here before. Household name. Not sure about the property and real estate link although is Becks home in north east london? I'll get my coat!
