Surely he cannot just state that he will accept less, I am sure if the swiss group are intersted there will be a certain amount of bartering on both sides, but you have to have a start point and why not start at the figure pinnacle were or are paying.

What I am guessing is that they have a five year plan to get the club back to the prem and then sell it for a handsome profit. The problem is that the Fl are making a 5 year plan highly unlikely especially if they hit us with a -25 and perhaps the investors are not willing to wait that long to get a return and a profit on their investment and will probably suffer a big loss for while. Our only hope is aquiring a buyer who views this as a long term commitment and are willing to even accept a -25 and who are not interested in buying to resale. Long hope I know but maybe the swiss?

Trying to gleam some positive out of Fry's statement, at least there will be no further period of exclusivity, so, if the swiss are up for it they can do it straight away. Here's hoping that they have done their homework already and will put pen to paper asap. Other than that I am joining the mass crap in the pants brigade!

Bloody hell, Fialka might not even bother if he see's the crap dished out to him on here. Its been mentioned on here that the Swiss group are looking at several clubs and not just saints, so in effect you could be slating the guy, and possibly the one and only guy who could be the difference between us going out of existence or survival.

If that is the case where do we go from here. Pinnacle will not take us on with -25 and nor will anyone else for that matter as that will probably relegate us yet again.

Oh well, I was waiting for takeover day to hit my 1000 posts but I can't wait any longer. Block 5, you don't have to eat your scarf! The wait is all getting a bit bum jangly now and the silence is deafening. I still hold out some hope but it is diminishing by the hour. I still find it hard to believe that Pinnacles backers would be prepared to invest a large wad and then not complete the deal, that is my only hope of it still going through.

To be fair though, just like an election poll, take an average viewpoint from a few and you get an overall idea of what the masses think. Spread information to a few and it will feed out quickly.

Did'nt pinnacle have to sign a confidentiality agreement at the request of the buyer? If that is the case it would be very foolish of pinnacle to disclose whom the buyer is as it would put the whole deal in jeopardy. I find it a little strange that the buyer wants to be unknown at present which seems to add to the growing negative feelings regarding the pinnacle deal, but just maybe there is a really valid reason behind it.

Losing faith in the position of the moon art. Mate, we are all chewing our fingernails and sick to the back teeth of not knowing if our club is going to survive or not, but your post goes way to far when calling it an almighty fraud. If the deal does break down then vent off, but that has not happened yet. Give MLT some sort of credit, he would not be involved in anything that contained in it no hope.

Hopefully pinnacle were just trying it on in the vague hope that the FL might cave in, but I cannot believe pinnacle will not continue the purchase because of this, even us mere supporters knew the the chances were almost nill.

I think us lot on here are giving TL more grief than the FL at the moment. Perhaps we should chill out if at all possible and stop endlessly covering old ground of which we have limited knowledge about (myself included btw).
