  1. I thought it was the 500k dep which was the problem.
  2. If thats the case then no. If MJ has brokered a deal, then great, if thats the end of his involvement even better.
  3. Yes, can confirm Guppy came from Colden Comman, lots of ponds there.
  4. It seems that the usual fantasists are itching to crawl out of the woodwork again and big it up on this forum. I remember the pm's and not so subtle hints going backwards and forwards between LLS, St David and others a couple of years ago, playing ITK big boys and working hard to impress us mere posters not in the clique. It was and still is fecking pathetic.
  5. Thats what I remember! I am also intrigued at some slating the pinnacle interest because they have played it out in the media spotlight, which is strange because we seem to know more about the MJ bid. Stuart Green is a backer is he not and yet I haven't got a clue who the proposed backers were for the pinnacle bid apart from MLT endorsing it and ofcourse the middle man.
  6. Perhaps Gavin Davies, Salz, whoever, could confirm this direct to us the fans via the echo or similar if this is true, in order to perhaps reduce the amount of panic going on atm. As it is the Sun giving us this news I am somewhat sceptical.
  7. All seems a bit odd to me. Isn't there a few variables to consider? 1. We are not sure if there will be a sfc next season. 2. If we do get a buyer they might not want Wotte to stay in charge. 3. If a new manager is brought in, shouldn't it be up to him who goes and who stays? 4. Surely contracts can only be finalised once it is known how much funding is available.
  8. And here ends a party political statement on behalf of the MJ bid.
  9. I think you will find that Kelso Kev and St David are the same, of the same, intertwined, inextricably linked, as one.
  10. I am not overly impressed with Shearer's managerial stint at Newcastle, but he was taking over a side who have been on a downward spiral for a long long time and only for a handful of games. Hard really to judge him on that but I must admit I was surprised by his choice of sidekick, Dowie. For me Dowie has got failure tatooed on his forehead and I would hate to see him come here. As for Shearer, the jury's out.
  11. Chardonay chilled and at the ready SD?
  12. nick, you seem to think that saints fans are the only ones that slate some of their own players, it goes on at every club, check the forums out or listen to Talk Sport. It is up to the players to prove a point and make us eat our words. Many on here say that MG did'nt have the service in what is a very poor team, but from what I saw he missed many easy chances some of which were gaping open goals that cost us dearly. As he is being paid in part by us for that, he will also have to accept the flak if we do not think he is doing his job properly. If he decides to walk about on the park only half interested, he is inviting more flak. If he is also displaying an attitude, then he gets what he deserves.
  13. For me he is a poor mans Ade Akinbiyi..........................yes I know.
  14. Totally agree! There have been a few posters on here recently with different agendas.
  15. When he goes to court I hope he does not provide his own defence.
  16. Whoosh, get in there!
  17. I might be wrong but I thought no one could be sold or purchased whilst we are in admin.
  18. Come on MB, brighten this up will you! Without the infractions though.
  19. Every cloud and all that.
  20. Apart from the -10, whats new!
  21. Where's Farmer?
  22. God, I really miss the dell at the moment. Heady days in comparison.
  23. Personally, I would have liked to have seen what Pearson would have done with the players available to Wotte.
  24. The only thing going for Wotte is that no other club is likely to want to take him off our hands. Does that tell you something!
