My father in law is a bit overweight. According to this thread, if he gets Covid and dies it serves him right cause he's a fat old c**t. I'll tell him next time I see him.
-
How has this thread turned into an argument already? 😕 For my part, I just want to sit in a pub garden in the sunshine.

My MD is a big believer in BTC specifically, and an avid follower of Michael Saylor. He (my MD) put a significant amount of the business' cash into bitcoin around August last year, and is now around 4x on this investment. Don't think I would have the balls for that, but fortune favours the brave.

Obviously shouldn't be sacked and hopefully wont resign. He's a fantastic manager and I'm glad we have him - but that still doesn't excuse a second 9-0 defeat. Keeping possession and maintaining defensive discipline when you are clearly the second best team on the pitch is an art in itself, one he needs to work a bit harder at enforcing with this team.

No one should lose a match 9-0, that’s on the manager sadly.
-
Can't believe anyone would actually do that, especially given the opportunity he had tonight.

What a twat

Best efforts and reasonable efforts are two different things. Best efforts usually means you will do all within your power to ensure something happens. Reasonable efforts normally means you will try to complete something assuming costs and timescales do not change in any significant way. 'Best Reasonable efforts' is a new one on me.

It's a strange demand given the current circumstances tbf...

Any predictions for what these benefits will be? I'd love something tangible to hold on to. TIA
-
Sadly, you're bang on here.

Jesus, calm down. I was hoping you could give me some good news to salve the current pains. However your literary aneurysm has got me a bit worried - do we really need to wait 40 years to see the benefit? I might be dead by then! ☹️

Hey brexit fans, I’m painfully aware of the negative aspects of our secession due to the MSM’s anti-farage agenda, but I haven’t heard much about the benefits yet. Perhaps one of you winners can give me an example of something that is now better, to counterbalance all this leftie angst? TIA

Fully agree with that, add Gartner & PWC to the list.

I am also a key worker, working from home in a fairly critical role. My daughter (12) is completely self managing and just gets on with her tasks. My son (9) is not able to self manage, and I cannot dedicate time to teaching him, so he goes to school. Different strokes and all that.

started so well, what a shame.
