I wouldn't be so sure, if we have a great season finishing top 8 again, win a cup and get into Europe I'd wouldn't bet against him signing for us. His last season shows that what he wants most is to play week in week out, won la liga and played in a CL final but still wasn't totally happy being there.

This might be a problem, but it does seem that some of the signings are very versatile and are able to play in multiple positions. I am slightly concerned about our forwards. I can see more pressure on JRod being signed but guess 4 months is quite a long time, and a lot can change. Guess the same applies to MS. Rather have a smaller squad where every player is happy and can be relied upon rather than a larger one with liabilities as back up (Hooiveld, Fox etc.)
