The whole situation is starting to confuse me tbh. Club seem adamant he’s going to be here, every other signal says he’s off. Club said he’s out for the season with that recent injury, headlines straight away say he’ll be back soon, and obviously that was the case. I’ve assumed for a while that he’s off, but not sure whether to get my hopes up with the noises coming from the club! Really hope we can see another season, into double figures in such a stop/start season for him is quite impressive - last season definitely wasn’t a one off.

I really like Adams, always have. I obviously agree that he should be more efficient in front of goal with his chances. I do think he has very good vision, you can tell he played in midfield earlier in his life, he has spotted a number of great passes in his time here and got some really lovely assists. He’s improved a lot since he arrived, hopefully that continues, would love to have another Adams/Ings season, however unlikely that may be!

He’ll get a good club, he’s a good player, despite what people on here pretend. The same people that love Bednarek and loved Hojbjerg.

Think Theo was always expected to be an option off the bench this season. The injuries and shit form of the competition has meant he’s played a lot more, and despite what you read on here, he has had some good games. I’d rather have him than have no one, and any alternative is going to cost £10mil+ which we can’t afford if their purpose is to just ‘be an option’. It’s low risk and his influence around the team is a positive one, we can afford it, and he’s another body on the bench.

Would love Lookman, has looked great for Fulham, he’s still only 23 and relatively inexperienced in football terms with this being his best season in terms of appearances in the Prem. There’s a few in that Fulham team that would be worth looking at, but not sure if we will. Antonee Robinson at LB, Loftus-Cheek, Andersen at CB. Few of their good players are on loan there anyway.

Which was made even weirder by the fact that it so obviously fitted better with Vestergaard. If you’re going to sing a weird, shit song, at least use it the best way you can.

The VAR referees should be an independent group, maybe referee’s that no longer officiate like Clattenburg, Halsey, Howard Webb - their age won’t matter if they’re just sat at Stockley Park. They shouldn’t be accountable to PGMOL, and they should get rid of this stupid fucking ‘clear and obvious’ get-out clause. If the referee makes a mistake on a key decision, overrule him - don’t say ‘yeah it’s a mistake but it’s not an OBVIOUS mistake’.

Dwight McNeil is a very good player, Tarkowski and Mee would definitely get in ahead of Bednarek for me.

Tottenham and Liverpool both furloughed staff at the start of the pandemic whilst City and particularly Chelsea gave up facilities to the NHS and donated in numerous ways. They’re definitely not all ‘exactly the same’, but yes cash is still king to all of them. There are plenty of huge businesses in the world, some are a lot worse than others in terms of their behaviour, it’s no different here. If there’s two out of the 6 who aren’t fully into this, then my money would definitely be on City and Chelsea.

That would be my guess too - both clubs, despite being ‘money clubs’ have actually invested into their local area and done some good over the years, they’re not the same as the other 4.

That’s my feeling, this is a power grab again, they’re heaping pressure on out in the open to try and gain in other ways so think.

He could just not dive in constantly? I’ve never known a CB be caught wrong side as often as he does. Vestergaard doesn’t do that?

Bednarek is absolutely fucking terrible

We miss Romeu horribly, one of our most under appreciated players for years. He was our player of the season until he got injured, he ran games from the midfield, such a shame we lost him.

Yeah i’ve never rated centre halves like that, Dunk at Brighton a great example. I think Bednarek is better than he’s shown since January but he’s nowhere near as good as people on here act like he is.

Should make people finally start to appreciate how good he is though

I couldn’t care less about this result, but I do care that Ralph doesn’t make a sub when we’re 3-0 down after 70 minutes with our most important game for about 3 years on Sunday.
