my sons school mates used to come down regularly but pirces for 12 - 16 yr olds too expensive so none of tehm inetersted now. Short sighted policy by club, once you get kids hooked they will come back time after time and potentially be future season ticket holders

Ticket Details: Sunderland Away - League Cup
oldsarum replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Recieved this response form club this morning they not surprisingly are not interested in helping me get my money back Thank you for your email. Unfortunately the decision to move the Capital One Cup match against Sunderland was out of our control. This was put to the Football League by the Northumbria Police Section due to Newcastle and Sunderland playing at home on the same day and the fixture date being just 3 days after the Wear-Tyne derby. Whilst we understand that it took a while for the Football League to set the match date and this has since been re-arranged, we do advise supporters in our ticket Terms and Conditions that all fixtures are subject to change. We can refund the face value of the match tickets, however I would advise that you take this further and contact the Football League regarding the additional costs that you have incurred. So I'm now contacting Football league -
Even football first missed that out, and also somehow managed to leave out the Clyne effort near the end, however the commentators were complementary and unlike BBC commentator did not think we stole a point but got the point we deserved. Both programmes also left out a great run by Clyne were he left Utd's new wonderkid for dead, but unfortunately didn't make the greatest of crosses at the end of the run. Neil Warnock on Talksport once again was full of praise for Clyne today and thinks he's a better full back than Walker and Johnson as he can actuallly defend, and is just as good as those two going forward

As i said earlier on a different thread, they should definatley subsidise the tickets for Chelsea where £49 - £51 for a televised game on a Sunday will mean a poor turn out of Saints, whereas if those tickets were £15 -20 cheaper far more would go and it would only cost the club £60K at most, and still leave £140K in the fund

I'm in the same boat, as it was half term was taking lad who was really looking forward to trip We are both unable to go on Nov 6th I'd Booked hotel and train and paid out nearly £150, after waiting to make sure the date of game was confirmed as Oct 30th Managed to get refund for Hotel, but not confident about getting train fare refunded If I don't get train fare back from Grand Central will try Saints, football league, Northumberland Constabulary etc. to get my £99 back, maybe Saints might use some of thier £200K to compensate those affected by this ridiculous decision -
Saints should subsidise the cost of tickets for Chelsea away for game live on Sky for starters, rather than free coaches £10 off a ticket = £30,000 if we sell our full allocation then everyone attending benifits rather than the minority that go by coach
-
It is a good deal but only because it's been discounted by 44% from normal price to £199, would be over £350 otherwise which is a lot

With those games announced, I would hope that means Newcastle away and Everton away games will remain as 3Pm on Saturday's
-
That's impressive, especially Saints have done it twice, also did it 1983/84
-
fair chance I can help you, will confirm later

Southampton closing in on matching record of 1983-84 legends
oldsarum replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Said to mates on Saturday how much the current teams style of play and lack of goals conceeded reminded me of 83/84 team. We even have a pony tailed centre forward. Just hope this one scores more than Frank Worthington did that season. -
London Saints are having to come back via Sheffield to get a reasonable fare coming back, but have amanaged to get direct train up Ok

Hope we can sell a few more tickets Over 3,000 left at the moment , more than 4,000 if you included Block 44 which I think will be available if necessary for Saints fans This should be a really good game, Swansea are a good team to watch and this will be a real test for us
-
In the games against the same oppponents last season we got 2 points in a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham, and lost 2-0 at West Brom. losst 1-0 to Sunderland and drew 0-0 at Norwich, so effectively we are 3 pts better off then last season. However it's most unlikely the way we are playing that we'd beat Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City at home this time around
-
Although he didn't have a great game arguable our two best opportinities came from a Rickie through ball to Walcott early in the game and his flick on which Lampard should have buried in the last minute
-
I just love the way the National press has suddenly discoverd that there is more to Rickie's game than just goalscoring Loads of articles at weekend praising his all round play, which has been apparent to anyone watching him for years. What have these guys been watching for the past 2-3 years Shows how little the press appear to know about players any outside the top six clubs.

London Saints do get an allocation but only enough to cover 10% of our membership, so we have to use season tickets in addition to get a reasonable allocation However we do have (due to drop out's) 3 spares for Liverpool if you need tickets I'm not a full member on this board but Steve Grant has my email address which i'm sure he'll provide you with to get in contact with me for tickets
-
that's odd as I managed to get 2 Adults + 2 under 17's for LIverpool online using 3 Adults + 1 under 17 members details
-
I bought 5 tickets on Friday 16th they were nos 1,2,3,4 and 14 for concession ticket so random numbering of tickets if think if we get 300 up there we'll be doing well

Barnsley Tickets on sale - Season ticket holders
oldsarum replied to conflicted's topic in The Saints
I'm taking my 14yr old to what will be his 32 away ground, he loves going to places like this. He's been to Rochdale, Walsall, Exeter, Colchester but never been to Old Trafford or Anfield and not fussed about going to either of those this season either -
Lazy journalism again Jay Rod is also English played for U21's and Started so should be 6 English players for Saints Annoyed me this morning when Parry was on Talksport talking about this subject and never mentioned how Saints were setting a good example and how we''d played three 18yr old's in starting line up Saturday
