  1. latest statement from club https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2020-12-21/southampton-fc-ticket-office-operations-over-christmas
  2. They have started sending out emails confirming you have tickets to all those successful for West Ham today
  3. numbers entered in ballots will reduce due to new Tier 3 categories, we a fair number of Season Ticket holders, from Berkshire, Surrey and Gosport, Havant etc. area. A mate of mine from Hertfordshire who had ticket will not be allowed in ground for Man City, and others from areas stated above plus London will not be allowed to attend, so possibility that some more Man City Tickets might be made available now .
  4. As far as I’m aware tickets not transferable and most people had ID checked on Sunday
  5. There are staggered entry times on tickets, on Sunday it was 10.30, 10.45, 11.00 and 11.15. For Saturday my mate has 1.45, I have 2.15 so will be staggered from 1.30 onwards by the looks of things. I don’t think they were being strict on arrival times on Sunday, but queue at Purple gate was large just gone 11 on Sunday, up to top of steps on bridge, I was in ground by 11.30, so I wouldn’t leave it too late to turn up.
  6. mate in same situation, contacted club and was told that l find if you were lead customer they have sent both tickets to you, that's certainly the case with him
  7. At least 3 London Saints members who would have had tickets for Man City will not now get tickets, there must be quite a few others who travel down from London etc. who will miss out too.
  8. You have to be a season long ticket holder in hospitality to qualify
  9. You can’t pass ticket on to someone else, photo I’d required to access the ground, better to choose to opt out. Nb my time for arrival a bit more reasonable at 11.15
  10. My son’s replacement kit arrived this mornings, he’s happy as he now has both home and third choice kit
  11. shouldn't think it would make any difference, the link to tickets is on your SFC ticket account
  12. I contacted club this morning and they said still sending emails out today, including on for me
  13. I think the concourse size and access, is the major reason for using the Kingsland, plus they have to put subs in several blocks of Itchen Stand
  14. Saints getting ready to allocate tickets, just received this email from club we’re delighted to confirm that we can finally welcome fans back to St Mary’s, with measures in place to keep you safe. With Southampton in tier 2 of the government’s local restriction tier system, the club will be able to allow a maximum of 2,000 supporters into the stadium for our match against Sheffield United on Sunday 13th December. You previously confirmed that you would like to be considered for selection to attend matches in October and November. To retain the same details and group you may have previously selected for the match against Sheffield United, and further fixtures in December and January, no further action is required. If you wish to amend this, please complete the form using the button below.
  15. I tend to have something to eat in pub before come games, so if I was successful in getting a ticket would do the same as normal and just miss out on pint after the game
  16. Why priories SO postcodes over many nearby areas that have a even lower R rate?
  17. Being party to meetings with club, they suggested more than 12k season ticket holders. They also said they had contacted those season tickets holders and knew those who because of COVID didn’t wish to attend or couldn’t due to medical conditions, around 12% of season ticket holders came into this category in October they had planned for 8k fans allowed and were planning in those circumstances on rewarding fans who rarely miss a home or away game or were long standing season ticket holders before any ballot.
  18. its already covered on another thread, but here it is talking about Times article https://www.prostinternational.com/2020/11/08/changing-tempos-opposition-coaxing-and-daring-swagger-southamptons-success-begins-with-a-ball-playing-backline/?fbclid=IwAR29ulynd3BKZkOOlmfphIydAeR-jadcHS1KomDNuAQerV1LrJFkuicpBPE
  19. Can’t help with getting Times article, but here’s a great one a mate of mine found https://www.prostinternational.com/2020/11/08/changing-tempos-opposition-coaxing-and-daring-swagger-southamptons-success-begins-with-a-ball-playing-backline/?fbclid=IwAR0ci0-VU7RD8nmk7aEoAtiD51X5PeYZwXmKk4g00xjY0zxraenCc_RCrMg
  20. It’s noticeable that our defenders play the ball at the back until they see to play the ball through midfield on the deck to the likes of Walcott, Armstrong and Adams, not that often they hoof it, Vestergaard particularly good at this. See ball to Walcott for second goal at Villa last week.
  21. 4 weeks would mean missing 3 games, 6 weeks would mean missing 6 games, lets hope its 4 weeks, but think even if he's fit he will probably miss more games through squad rotation/resting as he did last year for Chelsea and Palace away games , which didn't adversely effect us last season
  22. I've just been refunded one amount, which I'm pretty certain is for Everton and Newcastle games
  23. I think you're being unfair in your criticism , its easy to sit back now and say that, but when tickets went on sale in July things were improving. In those circumstances I think the club did the right thing to gauge interest, to find out how many season ticket holders would want tickets, and then after that when it was thought restricted crowds might be possible, they could then use this as a basis to try and find out who of those with season tickets would not want to attend due to COVID, and then work out ways to allocate tickets to the season ticket holders who wanted to attend games. If we had have been able to attend in October a system was in place, something many other clubs haven't got. Unfortunately this never happened but Saints would have been ill prepared otherwise, and the moaners on here would have complained about that too. No win situation but think Saints did the right thing and are now refunding supporters fairly promptly for games they cannot attend.
  24. just listened to this, Ryan came over brilliantly and very clear he loves the club, and sure he will sign the new contract that's been muted
  25. No sure, maybe it's a reorganisation and expansion of Scouting, part of the masterplan Ralph came up with during lockdown, prior to him signing his extended contract
