Love it how our transfers are never the ones people are talking about - for some reason fills me with confidence. Even if we only get the RB from nice on a free - I'm confident the club know why they are doing. Particularly if they have plans to spend a lot on the infrastructure to help develop players and continue to think about the future rather than just the next season.

i see him more as a wide player coming in rather than up top alone. Tadic, JRod, Redmond +1 ideally in this group and an AMC and we should be pretty good.

Looks like Bas Dost will be the replacement at around £7-8M. Which is pretty good business, a like for like player - realistically not as good as Pelle, but he's just turned 27. Forwards - Austin, Dost, Long - pretty good variety in that.

These player prices are going to completely screw some clubs. Seems like Bournemouth have been smart this summer and are looking to balance the books, some of the teams who have come up are going to dump enormous sums and go straight down and basically end up doing a Portsmouth if not worse.
