We should start a rumor that Bale wants to come back and play for Southampton in the Champion's League next year.
-
More accurately, we have not been effectively, not mathematically, eliminated from Champion's League.
-
Nevertheless, it makes no sense for a deal to be in place with Arsenal right now.
-
That's certainly the straight line extrapolation. So I predict that too.
-
Since this is supposed to be an appreciation thread maybe the irrelevant insults of people who are not Katharina Liebherr should go elsewhere.

This is the appropriate fitness model for a professional athlete. http://jamesclear.com/jerry-rice http://www.49ers.com/video/videos/A-Football-Life-Backstory-Jerry-Rices-Work-Ethic/a6453e91-2f25-49f0-b5dc-a000ebde3c6e http://www.stltoday.com/sports/football/professional/intense-work-ethic-took-jerry-rice-to-pro-football-hall/article_1c5c2aa7-864c-5262-983b-3b3b0cb8c401.html

They probably would be better off had they hired him.

Maybe the current chairman doesn't work hard. Or maybe he doesn't do it behind the scenes.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Bearsy, but I am afraid that the January Meltdown 2015 will center around you. I hope you come out of it ok.

What with a pretty intense preseason and the possibility of up to a month of play offs, this greatly understates things. Six months is more accurate. Also, you do understand that American Football players get clobbered physically on virtually every play. Think of it as being tackled in a way that deserved a red card over and over again for three hours every week.

It is a way of beginning to come to terms with the fact that we are good this year without fully acknowledging it just in case we fall apart. They wouldn't want to look wrong again unnecessarily.

Just for the fun of it, make a 3 million pound offer. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/11343861/Arsenal-transfer-news-Krystian-Bielik-deal-for-2.4m-almost-done.html

I just thought of a tougher question, if you could only have one would you want Southampton to win the FA Cup or Portsmouth to be relegated to the Conference? You can't pick both.

Phil Neville predicts Saints in Bottom 3 at end of season
Redslo replied to CalneSaint's topic in The Saints
To be fair, if you set aside your anti-Portsmouth biases, they did look in good shape at the start of the season. The more interesting lower league stories to me are Bournemouth and how well Swindon Town is doing with our two center backs. -
While I am happy to be appreciative of Katharina Liebherr, I am not sure comparing her to a random historical woman of no particular relevance is the way to go. But if that is the plan I suggest Florence Nightingale or Susan B. Anthony.
-
That is a great question.
-
I want one point if it means we can get three points against Man City on the last day of the season.

I address this on my blog today. http://www.redsloscf.blogspot.co.uk

Yes they do. If we finish fourth we will be playing in the group stage of either the Champion's League or the Europa League.
-
Yes. Five. They would bump the fourth place team out of the Champion's League. (Capital C and L--not languages.)
-
Yes.
