  1. Tony Lynam suggested as much, as reported in the Times:
  2. Then let me try. Pinnacle doesn't have to tell me squat about what the source of their funds are and the proof of those funds. BUT, when they use this website or other media outlets to say they have the funds, but then refuse to provide any futher details, on the basis that it is none of our business, they can hardly b! tch if it makes people suspicious. I, however, have now taken the position that if Tony Lynam says that Michael Fialka has access to over £14M in cleared funds and that Mr. Fry is satisfied, I will suspend my disbelief and stop any form of mild abuse on this inconsequential and lightweight forum, until someone proves otherwise. I truelly hope that Pinnacle are able to deliver the funds, so that the staff at St. Marys and the players are paid, before the club goes into meltdown.
  3. Hi Tony, Forgive me for the delay in replying, but your post was only recently read by my assistant, as my current business activities keep me very busy and it makes sense to delegate such activities. I am sure you understand. My apology was made for the mistaken impression I had, that the person that was behind your bid, Mr. Fialka, has a net worth which is accurately reflected in the accounts he submits to Companies House, for the only two limited companies of which he is a director. I was unaware that he has a "formal agreement" with other anonymous backers that allows him access to far greater funds, that will enable him to take ownership of our club. I am impressed with the generousity of these backers and I am sure that he will enjoy, in the future, our away fixtures at White Hart Lane, as you will at Anfield. Let's hope these games happen in the not too distant future! Thank you for clearing this up on Sky Sports News and correcting the local papers' mis-information. In business, I am more used to a transparent demonstration of funds, in order to help with my decisions regarding business dealings. Many banks require this as well, when deciding on lending criteria, but it is refreshing that Mr. Fry is able to rely on a more liberal net worth measure of people and consortia, than I am. In preparation for your takeover on Monday or Tuesday, now that you have removed the impediment that the Football League was placing in it's way, I would join with you, in calling for all Saints fans to support you, when the formalities are completed and when the season starts. You can rely on myself and my small company to continue our sponsorship, which has given us more highs than lows over the last couple of years. As you say, I look forward to a beer or two with you, when this happens. Best Wishes for next week to you and Michael and I hope the money transfer happens quickly for the wonderful staff at the club, who have always been efficient and friendly when I have had the opportunity of dealing with them, Regards, GM
  4. In all sincerity, I am very happy that it appears the the Pinnacle bid will go through following their acceptance of the Football League's position. I have had a number, a large number, of instances of being wrong in my life, largely due to the large size of my mouth and the small size of my brain, but, given my deep love for Southampton Football Club, my passion, on this occasion, swamped my judgement. That judgement seems to have been wrong and Mr. Fialka and his North London friends appear to have access to the £14M that will save our club, together with an investment plan that will help put the club back in the Premiership. I apologise, unreservedly to Mr. Lynam and Mr. Fialka for the abuse that I have posted and hope that by supporting the club when they take over, I will be able to make amends. Finally, I was made aware that I called Mr. Fialka a "dustbin lid". This deeply upset one of our posters who is married to a black lady and has mixed race children. He believes that that comment makes me the worst type of racist, one that didn't know he was one. I am very sorry to him and to Mr. Fialka if they found the term offensive and racist. Please forgive me in the future for any words I use that also rhyme with offensive terms. I hope that in the spirit of reconciliation, all those that thought Mr. Fialka and Mr. Lynam were "potless" join me in apologising....
  5. I wonder where your thread went, Dunc.... It seems that someone is getting nervous. Is it the mods or Mr. Lynam? That email really needs to be provided to Crouch's lawyer, IMHO....the Echo don't really need any more ammunition.
  6. Actually, I had f all to drink. I was working on a business deal and needed a break. Just shows how pi $$ed off I am. Oh and less of the old....
  7. Actually as I started the thread, how the f*** could the quote you provided be the answer to a question, as it was at the start of the thread. Actually, I'm off to have a brandy and then about two hours of sex.... ...I need a real life for a change, instead of an incessant battle of wits with unarmed posters...
  8. The problem is, Block Head, you're confusing me with someone that give a sh !t about your whiney arsed, liberal, mealey mouthed, ill informed, humourless, beard stroking, pipe smoking, slipper wearing opinion...
  9. I would explain it, Stanley, but I can't be asked, TBH for two reasons. I have never claimed a fraud. You're an unpleasant piece of knob cheese.
  10. I've had enough of this club and its fans, to be honest. It's like seeing your wife getting raped. Meanwhile, internet Saints "fans" fawn over a potless Irishman and his equally potless London mate, while they fiddle with her bra. This dustbin lid is obviously a total nutjob, yet him and Frank Carson are given the time of day by supposed professionals. If neither of them have any money, what the f*** do they bring? Arse ache, that's all....
  11. The truth is, TL had contacts with some "Londoners with Money" and Andy H. put him in touch with Matt Le Tiss. All over a drink at the Lock, Stock and Barrel. The only problem for Tony and Matt is that they both got on the bus, and the gibbering nutter was the only ****ney left and he is sitting in the next seat, claiming he is a multi-millionaire, ex-professional footballer.... Crouch was driving the bus and I think he jumped off at the last stop.... Matt should do the same....
  12. Probably not. He's too busy talking/writing drivel.... He's a Liverpool supporting chancer, feigning concern for the club, when his real concern is for a bull sh! t deal that has blown up in his face. Screw him, I'm pi $$ed off with this whole thing, as you can probably tell. Anyway, aren't you f***ing needed back at River Cottage?
  13. A breathtaking pile of sh !t from a bullsh !tting chancer and his London based dreamers. What a bunch of time wasting w@ nkers And Spence, how can you call yourself a Saints fan and post this sh !t.... Tony, you're as joke, mate. Do the decent thing and get on the first ferry to Cork....
  14. Dear Fans, I would just like to break off momentarily from the important and in depth meeting I am attending, in order to update you and the staff at St. Marys Stadium, on the latest position reached regarding the ongoing negotiations with the Football League. Myself and the principle behind the deal, Michael Fialka, have been sat beside his parents fax machine and have to say that apart from two excellent offers on mobile phones and one tempting leasing deal for a new Renault Kangoo, there has been no contact from Dr. Malwhinney. We would like to work closely with the League, but it is apparent that they, in their wisdom, have declined to allow us to reserve the right to sue their arses in court, thus incurring unspecified legal fees on their behalf, should our deal to buy Southampton Football Club go ahead. To say that we are deeply upset by this development is an understatement and we are reserving our position. A new and unforeseen legal issue has suddenly occured, which has now meant that we may, regretfully, have to delay our purchase still further. The Daily Echo has published several totally unfounded and untrue stories regarding the background of the man who is the source of the funding, that well known and incredibly rich, former professional footballer, Michael Fialka. Until such time as the Echo retracts these baseless allegations, his mother has said that he is not allowed to pay the wage bill of the club and how could a newspaper treat a nice Jewish boy so badly? I will be taking legal advice on the possibility of a libel action. I am sure you will agree that it is vital for the club to protect it's future owner from such attacks and understand that the reasons we are doing this is in the best long term interests of Southampton Football Club. I hope you will be able to continue to support our bid and the attack we are proposing against the freedom of the press, (apart from Soccer Saturday, obviously) Best Wishes for a good weekend and remember to spend time with your family and if you can, give something to charity. I know I do... Tony Lynam
  15. It has to be. The lawyers for SLH/Administrator will, under Law Society guidelines, only allow one contract to be out with one party at a time, IMHO...
  16. Profession? Fry has poured petrol on the fire the moment he let Lynam past reception...
  17. Worth asking whether Begbies Traynor are willing to work for one week without pay....
  18. If it's less than £150K, I'd be amazed. It would be worth asking Clapham Saint for his opinion. He thinks that Administrators are, in general, wonderfully professional and worth every penny....I happen to think they're more akin to a cross between a vampire and a scrap metal merchant...
  19. A small extract from the Misrepresentation Act - 1967, for those that are interested: 2. Damages for misrepresentation. — (1) Where a person has entered into a contract after a misrepresentation has been made to him by another party thereto and as a result thereof he has suffered loss, then, if the person making the misrepresentation would be liable to damages in respect thereof had the misrepresentation been made fraudulently, that person shall be so liable notwithstanding that the misrepresentation was not made fraudulently, unless he proves that he had reasonable ground to believe and did believe up to the time the contract was made the facts represented were true. Problem is, when a person/company is potless, the phrase "blood out of a stone" comes to mind....
  20. ...if I was Crouch I'd be calling in the fraud squad....
  21. I hope the mods don't mind, but f*** you Alpine....
  22. He lives with his f***ing Mum and Dad in a semi-detached house in Barnet, FFS and he's 33 years old.
