I'm calling it now. He's not good enough. Another championship player who can't make the step up. He might break his duck against Portsmyth, if Ralph doesn't have another stroke of genius and rest him, but that'll be just papering over the cracks.
-
Bournemouth didn't win last night as much as Ralph lost it. With a small handful of exceptions we're not a very good team and without Dejenepo scoring great solo goals we would be in a relegation fight already. But what the hell wad Ralph thinking about with that defensive set up ????? Play your best players in their best positions FFS

A great player and a much better manager than some gave him credit for at the time, me included. I hope he's getting the care he needs; but continuing cuts to social services will only get worse if the tories remain in charge, so he and other dementia sufferers are going to need all the charity they can get. Good luck fella

Oh get over yourself. Liverpool fans giving it large over Munich. Man U giving it large over Hillsborough etc etc… Welcome to football. FWIW I feel great sympathy for Salas family and friends at this tragedy as anyone would. But as far as i'm aware he never met his team mates, never met any fans, and never set foot in Cardiff. The only 'loss' to Cardiff is on the balance sheet.
-
We got away with it last year, but even with the improvements made by Ralph H we're still a team who's defence is at the very best lower Championship level. I think our numbers up this time. Pity Les Read wont be around to carry the can.

I still can't believe how such a football genius has not been snapped up by another club. Such insight and brilliance lost to the football world it enough to make you cry. I blame forces intolerant to those who wear lifts in their shoes!
-
No. He bought the club for £10m out of administration. That money would have gone to the administrators first, the tax man second, and then any secured debtors. Barclays lost a lot of money on the deal but not as much as if we had gone bust.
-
We'll probably play quite well but lose due to defensive errors. Same old same old
-
Unless we can buy replacements for Yoshida, vestergaard, and Hoadt, we're down. You can't coach that level of incompetence into anything useable.
-
A good article that outlines our recent problems. The change of manager and technical directors etc should have been made 12 months ago though
-
The sooner we're relegated out of this toddy league the better. Then we can play in a genuinely competitive league and when we when it we can refuse promotion and attempt to be the first club to win back to back championships.

Under new rules the big six will earn more from tv rights so surely they should pay more for Scudamore.
-
Respect my ass. My Grandad fought all through WW1 in the Hampshire Regiment and never wore a poppy. My great uncle was killed at Gillipoli with the Royal Marines never got a chance to wear a poppy. Rewind the clock 20 years and see how many TV presenters, footballers and the general public were wearing poppies. Like I said political correctness gone mad.
-
FWIW I won't be wearing a poppy either. Political correctnesss gone mad.
-
If you really want to protest, have a huge banner saying "the Premiership is pants, we want out". Cheer every defeat until we're relegated. Then enjoy the championship which is much better fun. And if we win the Championship decline the promotion and attempt to be the first club to ever win back- back championships.

Couldn't agree more. They can stick their guard of honour up their arris .
-
We'll draw tonight at Swansea, and lose to Man City and be relegated. There is no credible evidence of any other outcome. I hope we'll then get rid of Reed and his policy of prioritising the purchase of players with sell on value above buying players to build a team.
-
I don't like to quote someone's post and just add 'this', but on this ossasion I will. This.

Two games against Chelsea, which is more important?

3 points. Without a doubt. -
Wrong man in the wrong job. But I bare him no ill-will. It was not his fault Reed let him go on so long after we all knew it wasn't working. Wish him well in his next venture.
-
Hard to argue with your conclusion. Wish I was around to go to it.
-
Too late. We're down. And I wouldn't trust Reed to appoint someone better anyway.

In any other business heads would not only roll for wasting £20m in this manner, but the fraud squad would have been called.
