  1. Along with the cordoned off area for the disabled.
  2. It can be the case that teams with a lot of injuries and suspensions manage to dig out a result. Probably because they go out to park the bus and get lucky on the break. Or am I just trying to find a shred of hope to cling on to?
  3. Hamas have made a rod for their own back by trying to play out from a tight defensive area. They have left themselves vulnerable to attack and are getting pounded as a result. It’s all down to the RM playbook.
  4. To be fair, he does have a point. If the cap fits… What is this obsession with male genitalia anyway? Most of us left that behind at school.
  5. Wow, you really are a strange one. Anyway, have you found any evidence that I called Trump a warmonger yet or can we just accept that you are concocting more rubbish just to support more of your conspiracy theories? instead of posting laughing emojis, back up your claim that I called Trump a warmonger or admit you are a bs merchant. Like all conspiracy theorists you are a fantasist nic. Do yourself a favour and come back and live in the real world.
  6. Indeed. The entertainment business is full of unpleasant people with over inflated egos and no self awareness. Gregg Wallace is just another in a long line of them. It’s a business and it is what’s on screen that counts, until something like this happens. The BBC seem to have been burnt by previous and much bigger issues concerning their presenters so are now overcompensating with the Wallace saga. There is no way that it should be the lead story on their main news shows. As for Wallace, he should have apologised, offered to seek help and kept his head down for a while. By doubling down and making further unhelpful comments he has just dug himself a bigger hole.
  7. Why don’t you just stop stalking him and do us all a favour? As I have tried to explain several times to the other serial stalker on here, perhaps try and understand how the ignore function works. You see a greyed out box with the ignored persons name on it when they post. If it appears under your last post there is a reasonably good chance that post refers to your last post. If you click that box it gives you three options - show this post - stop ignoring posts by xxxx - change your ignore preferences. So it is entirely possible to have someone on ignore but chose to read a post of theirs if you so wish on occasions. Posts from people on your ignore list still show up on your screen when someone else quotes them so the ignore function is not foolproof. As you are one of the serial stalkers on here I suggest that you put the people who trigger you (me being one of those) on your ignore list and find another hobby.
  8. Bless you nic. I would say that you have lost the plot, but you never really had the plot in the first place. The pantomime season has started early this year.

Aren’t there any rules about donations from abroad? You can imagine the outrage if Putin had funded the Labour Party’s campaign! Some info here… https://amp.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/30/eu-countries-parties-private-donors-spain-france https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_funding_in_the_United_Kingdom

The same Nigel Farage who kicked off when some Labour MPs went over to the States to support the Democrats? Well he is bound to turn the offer down as he would not like to be seen as a hypocrite would he? I guess those who don’t have a problem with someone like Musk getting involved in world politics let alone domestic US politics and who support Farage will be delighted. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/elon-musk-nigel-farage-donald-trump-reform-uk-b1197417.html

How are you getting on with reading the old posts? Apparently there are 5.7k posts so I’m guessing it will take a few days.
  13. The Gregg Wallace story was the main item on the BBC News this evening, beating Aleppo in the schedule.
  14. I’m not supporting his tactics in the slightest and hate the suicidal passing from the back as much as anyone, but the fact that Dibling and Fernandes do take people on seems to indicate that the plan isn’t just to pass the ball to death.
  15. For those who want to believe their is a left wing bias in the media in the UK, this might come as a shock. https://pressgazette.co.uk/media-audience-and-business-data/media_metrics/uk-media-bias-2024/
  16. Since when has saying to someone that this current bill about assisted dying is not mandatory been offensive? For a bunch of anti-woke warriors you lot have suddenly turned in to a bunch of snowflakes. And it is so unlike you lot be ever be offensive to others is it? Always the same people. You dish it out but get precious when it comes back. Even Whelk didn’t find it offensive, which tells you all you need to know! If any one of my posts on here offended a poster that I respected and wasn’t dishing it out themselves, I would worry about it.
  17. Is he wrong though? If the state paid for his education surely he has been state educated?
  18. I may have misunderstood, but I think that the OP was saying that we should have more points but have been robbed by the officials and therefore perhaps we are not as crap as we think we are???

And not everyone is like you and reads every single thread they contribute to from the first page. Still, you shouldn’t be wasting time, you need to go back to page 1 and find the dozens of posts I have made calling Trump a warmonger. There are 114 pages so it could take a while. Oh, and talking about getting the wrong end of the stick, you do know that you replied to a post from Farmer Saint on another thread as if it was from me? 🤣
  20. His current comments about “middle class women of a certain age” show that he is completely unaware that the world has moved on. It reminds me of an interview with Jim Davidson a few years ago where he felt he was hard done by and also had failed to understand that his behaviour and routine was well behind the times. “It was just a bit of bantz” doesn’t cut it anymore.
  21. There are stories on the front pages of The Sun and The Star of him being accused of groping which is obviously much more serious. Again though, trial by media when these matters should go through the proper channels.
  22. If our second goal had been allowed how do you know that we would have gone on to win the game? There was still time for Brighton to equalise and even get a winner just as there was time for us to get another. This speculation just as pointless as our league position. Unless the goal is scored (or disallowed) in the last second of the game, the game will play out differently, even if the score does eventually stay the same. Sorry to be stating the bleedin’ obvious but all manner of things will affect the final result - team selection, tactics, weather conditions, on field decisions, substitutions etc. The only thing that matters in the end is the final result. Could have, should have, would have…we are where we are because we are currently the worst team in this league. To borrow a quote from a TV personality, “If my grandmother had wheels she would be a bicycle”.

Hello again Trigger. Taken some time out from stalking the farmer? Strange behaviour would be going back and reading very old posts when you join a forum just so you might be able to use them against someone sometime. Perhaps you do that? It wouldn’t surprise me. But as it’s a crap day and the dog has given up on her walk, I will indulge you. Exactly how many wars did Trump start when he was last in office? I don’t think it was an awful lot was it? Why then would I call him a warmonger? Talking of flip flopping, no one, properly not even Trump himself, knew what he was going to do from day to day. You can be a threat to world peace without being a warmonger. If I said that he was mad enough to press the red button, that is different from saying that he would actively go out and seek conflicts with other countries. Anyway, I think that it is sweet of you to go in to bat for nic. Birds of a feather and all that. Of you pop and go and find loads of old posts to prove him right. P.S. Joe Biden was the president when this thread started.
  24. There are a small number of posters on here who become obsessed with other posters and feel the need to respond almost immediately, usually with a dig, at everything you post. These are apparently mature men with families. You have to wonder what their wives and children would make of their behaviour. I have acquired a few over the years. You get used to it eventually. (and bingo, one turns up right on cue 🤣)
