Given the amount of hatred shown towards people of a different colour skin this last week and the violence we have witnessed, why would I bother making something up that pales into insignificance against everything else in order to support a view? We all know what is going on, apart from those who support attacks on Muslims, and why. Like most people I have friends and acquaintances and, like most people, we discuss the issues of the day. If I was going to go to the trouble of making things up I would make them far more interesting. I relate the opinion of a man who served in NI in The Troubles about the way the police have handled the riots so far and also that someone had had their windscreen smashed in the early evening in Bristol where a riot was expected. The Tories brought in the benefit cap in the first place. Labour have said they will get rid of it when they can afford to, but in the meantime they are bringing in other measures to help. They have made it clear since before they were elected that their hands would be tied over many ambitions because of the financial situation they have inherited. Still, the last 14 years is all down to Labour isn't it? You could make it up and you do, frequently. 🙄
