  1. Firstly I was just having a laugh but feel free to take it your way. Secondly I wasn’t referring to the posts so much yesterday but earlier in the week/window when the “vibe” wasn’t so jolly. You can be as mean to me as you like egg. I wouldnt have it any other way 😘
  2. I’m glad that pantomime is over, for 4 moths anyway. Time now to vote for the most neurotic, bed wetting poster of the summer transfer window. My vote goes, hands down, to hypochondriac, who, I imagine, is currently prostrate in a darkened room hooked up to an intravenous bottle of vodka. An honorary mention goes to Dman for their efforts but they just didn’t managed to keep up with the intensity and quantity of hypo’s posts. If we had failed to keep hold of Che and hadn’t signed another striker I think that poor old hypo would have spontaneously combusted. 🔥
  3. Grant Shapps expected to replace Ben Wallace as Defence Secretary 😩
  4. Given the number of people who seem to agree that you have been constantly over posting on the same subjects on this thread and that it is a forum for all, don’t you think it is a bit selfish not to take some advice from your fellow posters? You might not care less, but this isn’t just your forum. No one is saying that you can’t post what you want, we are saying don’t post the same point every two minutes please. Thanks.
  5. I am glad that you noticed this too. I had been thinking about making the same point but I decided against it as I didn’t want him stalking me again. He has been sending multiple posts for it seems like forever and all pretty much on the same theme. It does border on the hysterical. Christ, how many times do you have to repeat the same mantra? You have made your point Hyperbole, now why not relax for a bit until the window finally slams shut and then you can start up again posting every two minutes that you told us so.
  6. If you are trying to make this about who is more preferable between the two, there is really no contest. But this thread is about Donald Trump and his complete inability to tick any box about being a half decent human being, quite apart from being a half decent and competent POTUS. But as you asked, Biden will not go down as the greatest ever POTUS, but he will also not be remembered as the worst. That honour will go to a certain Donald J Trump.
  7. I don’t have to live in Russia to know 100% that Putin is a deranged, deluded, narcissistic, power mad nutter. The same goes for Trump.
  8. He is being “moved aside” because grabbing your crotch in public and forcibly kissing someone on the lips against their will is no longer acceptable behaviour. Try doing it in Camden and see where that gets you. The mob says so because society is what you like to call a “mob”. What you don’t seem to understand is what you think is ok and normal and what respectable people think is okay are normally two completely different things.
  9. The constant worry about spend is baffling. The bottom line always has been and always will be…it isn’t how much you spend, it is who you spend it on. As has been pointed out several times, some of our most effective players have been picked up for buttons and a number of our least effective players have cost us a shed load of cash. I don’t give a stuff how much SR spend this summer as long as we end up with a competitive squad that can deliver the football that RM wants.
  10. Bless you for looking out for Turkish. You were my first stalker on here and took great delight in chasing down my posts. If I have a pop back occasionally that is why. He seems to have taken over your mantle after you vanished for a while. Good to see you back again but you seem to have taken over from Alpine as the forum manic depressive so maybe the break didn’t help? Curious that your small gang of posters never have a go at each other despite some of the nonsense you all spew out. Still I guess it makes you all feel more secure if you stand together. As for a “gang” I think the rest of us leave that to people who think cliques are cool (see the CoT for evidence). Anyone who calls out those with a far right agenda (that includes you by the way, we all remember your alt right avatar and your constant support for far right mouth pieces) over a period of time ends up targeted by you and your like minded buddies. You are the ones who dish it out and can’t take it, that is why you all constantly stand up for each other. I have been taking it for years and will continue to do so because it helps expose you people for who you are. 😘
  11. He played for the U21s last night. Beaten 0-3 by Liverpool.
  12. A couple of points here. Firstly, the whole point of a “secret society” is that it is supposed to be “secret”. Once everybody has been told that it exists it is no longer “secret”. The members of the CoT could have kept quite and carried on sharing information amongst themselves with the the rest of us none the wiser. Instead we have this childish “we know something you don’t know” thing going on. I assume we are all adults here? Maybe some posters should start behaving that way? Secondly, if someone has given a poster some information that isn’t meant for general distribution, then why say anything at all? Again these silly pictures and cryptic clues are so childish. If you can’t tell us all who it is, don’t say anything. If it isn’t a big deal then tell us directly and don’t play these pathetic games. There wouldn’t be any personal attacks if some posters didn’t behave as if they were still in short trousers. Now let’s get back to some serious bed wetting…
  13. Just seen the presser and thought RM came across well. Despite all of the uncertainty about comings and goings he seems pragmatic about it all and just gets in with the job. Interestingly he said that we have been after both Holgate and Fraser for some time (I assume these were some of the ones lined up waiting to come in) but it has taken a while to get both over the line. He made the point that both are aggressive and vocal, qualities were have been short of, and despite many of the negative comments on this thread, he seems confident that they are both strong additions to the squad. Not sure why so many are getting their panties in a bunch over Piroe. I am sure many of us have never seen him kick a football and as has been said, if he was so super excited about coming here, why would he then change his mind because of the Leeds admin. dept? I have no doubt that enquiries were made, you would expect any club worth its salt to check out availability of possible signings, but there is a massive difference between talks, which are probably going on all the time with multiple players, clubs and agents, and making a firm offer. Again, as pointed out elsewhere, if we were desperate for him, his agent would have known and we would have put our money down. Several others clubs were also in the picture but didn’t bother to follow through with an offer either. Seems odd if he is that brilliant as £12m seems a steal for the only player outside our club likely to score enough goals to take us back up if Adams goes 🤔
  14. I don’t complain Badger, I just carry on with life content in the fact that I have one. But as they say, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Why begrudge me the opportunity to get my own back occasionally? Anyway, I am still waiting patiently for all of this amazing transfer activity that he promised us.
  15. You have to feel sorry for those who have been badly misadvised in the Circle of Trust, despite the irritating smugness. Still, as we have seen by those hanging on every word from the likes of Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, perhaps they have now learned a valuable lesson. Never trust a narcissist!
  16. It’s beyond weird isn’t it? I assume The Mob consists of fully grown men with children yet they all act like prepubescent kids in the playground. No matter what I post you can guarantee that one, several or all of The Mob will respond negatively, often within seconds of me posting. Let’s name them in the interest of clarity. In no particular order; Weston SS, Lord Duckhunter, Batman, Hypochondriac, Turkish, Egg and occasionally The Kracken. Somehow, whatever opinion I have in any subject, it is a problem for these people. You would assume that many of them are still in full time employment yet they seem to have the time all day to read and respond to posts on an internet football forum. Where on earth do you manage to get a job that pays you for being a troll or WUM on an internet forum? Perhaps they are all divorced and unemployed and spend their days together trolling in an internet cafe while waiting for their next meeting with their Universal Credit representative? This thread is a perfect example of how weird these people are. I posted about one of the most despicable cases of mass murder in this country and the first thing that one of The Mob can think to post about is the issue about the defendant appearing in court to face justice. No mention of the dreadful crimes committed or sympathy for the victims, just another trolling post that immediately finds a way to have a go at what I have written. I would suggest that these people get a hobby but they clearly have one, trolling. What is even weirder is that they don’t recognise their peculiar tribe behaviour and this post will go right over their collective heads.
  17. Starmer accepted that there could be some difficulties on occasion but these are things that can be dealt with. If we never changed anything just because there might be some problems nothing would ever change. If anyone knows what the victims want it is a former DPP and barrister. As for your comment that he should know better Egg, given his experience he clearly knows better than you. I should add that although it has been a while since I worked at the CPS, unless things have changed dramatically, I believe that the majority of offenders do attend the sentence hearings and that the majority of them are carried out without any drama.
  18. The defendant cannot just chose not to engage in the process, whatever methods end up being used, e.g. video link etc. It is highly unusual for a defendant not to engage in the process and usually is down to serious illness. These matters start off in the magistrates court and the defendant has to appear to confirm their name and address, they are appraised of the charge or charges against them and the date for the next hearing is arranged, along with bail conditions being set. I worked in the CPS for nearly 10 years and my wife for 33 years and neither of us could recall a time when a defendant did not attend court at some stage. Keir Starmer was on LBC this morning talking again about the issue. Having been the Director of Public Prosecution and a barrister for many years before that, he had listened to countless victims and loved ones of victims. His view is that the law should be changed to ensure that offenders attend court for sentencing. He makes the point that the views of victims have been ignored for years and now need to be addressed. He said that the Government was talking about changing this law last year. Given that Sunak agrees with him, perhaps we shall see some progress in this matter soon. I find it very strange that there is some resistance to the idea that offenders should have to attend court to face the judge for the summing up and sentence. We used to string people up then cut them down and disembowel them whilst still alive and we were still hanging people into halfway through the last century. What is the problem with ensuring that someone faces a court to hear their sentence?
  19. I think people are missing the point. It is not about getting the offender to show remorse. It is an important part of the justice process, having the perpetrator stand up in court and face the consequence of their actions. These are not speeding offences here. Murder is the most serious of crimes and has far reaching consequences not just for the victims themselves, but for those they leave behind. For many this will provide a level of closure. For the process it certainly does. The offender is require to attend court as part of the trial process so it seems odd then that they currently have the right not to attend two of the most important parts of the trial, the reading of the verdict and the sentencing. This has nothing to do with how they might react or feel. She showed no remorse through the trial process so was unlikely to do so at the sentencing. She will be given a copy of the transcript of the judge’s summing up and of the victim impact statements but may chose never to actually read them. She should know what the contents of those statements are. How she chooses to process that information is down to her, but she should have to deal with it none the less. I appreciate that we are all different but I would certainly want to be there to see, first hand, the person responsible for doing something terrible to a loved one face their comeuppance in public and to know that they had heard, first hand, the summing up of the judge in front of the court. They didn’t give their victims a choice in what they did to them. Why should they get to chose how they deal with the consequences?
  20. I suggest that you go and find a victim of serious crime and ask them if you honestly don’t understand why. Unless this is just another of your pointless posts trying to spoil a serious thread? If you are still struggling with the reason go listen to what the former Director of Public Prosecutions (Keir Starmer) has to say about it.
  21. Given a whole life sentence and will never been released. Justice has be done but it will not bring back the babies and there is no sentence that will compensate the families for her actions. It is not right that she is able to refuse to be in the dock and did not hear the victim statements and the judge’s summing up. Hopefully this will be dealt with so that, in future, these people will have face the judge, the victims and the court when the verdict is announced and when they are sentenced. It seems incredible that she was allowed to carry out these attacks on babies for so long after doctors voiced serious concerns about her conduct. Once the official enquiry concludes, those responsible for not taking the warnings seriously need to be held to account.
  22. He scored 2 against Northampton in the EFL cup.
  23. To be fair, one of Duckhunter, Batman or Turkish were always going to make that comment.
  24. Cracking game. You have to take your chances and we didn’t although agree that Spain were the better side. They can be proud though as they looked poor in the early stages and stepped up. We look tired today
  25. What is low is ignoring the bigger issues and just focussing on small ones to further your own agenda. When I first mentioned that she had “air pollution” as cause of death on her certificate that was all that I had heard - that she was the first person to have that as cause of death on her certificate. I didn’t pick up the rest until later. As I said before, the main issue here is that air pollution is killing people and that anything that is done to improve air and saves lives has to be a good thing. If you and your buddies disagree, so be it. But please stop with the stupid nitpicking and focus on what the main issue is here. Thank you. By the way , The words “material contribution” would indicate something important and therefore “major”. If not why go to the effort of adding it to the report if it was significant. In fact I have just gone back and read everything I have posted on this subject and you have managed to distort everything. Ella’s mother is making a big deal of this on her media rounds. Is that low?
