Yes I know that. I was making a different point. This thread is about “things that are racist” and I was referring to a poster who only posts about sex crimes when they are committed by “foreigners.”
-
No Whelk, I haven’t missed the point. My point is that, as we know, there is a huge problem around the sexual exploitation of women and girls but you will only see Batman post about it when the perpetrators have a different coloured skin or are foreign. It is admirable that Batman should be concerned about the plight of women and girls in the UK but perhaps his concern should extend beyond the particular race or religion of those causing the sexual abuse?

Apparently she is very popular amongst the party members, although not many could pick her out from her picture. If they don’t stitch her up she will give Sunak a run for his money. She managed to slip in a Thatcher and Falklands reference too which will give Duckie a stiffie. Had to laugh at Johnson saying any of the 8 will “wipe the floor” with Starmer having had his arse handed to him on a plate at every PMQs. Leaving with his head held high too 😂
-
There, there Batman. It’s okay. They have no need to. There are always plenty of people like you to be outraged for the rest of us. But while you are at it, perhaps be outaged by the white males who also rape and sexually assault women and young girls? Haven’t you got better things to do, like arranging a petition to have Sir Mo Farah stripped of his knighthood? This will upset you but I suggest you read it… https://amp.theguardian.com/politics/2020/dec/15/child-sexual-abuse-gangs-white-men-home-office-report

The Mail has long been the most odious newspaper in the UK which is going some to beat The Sun into second place. Funny to see them turning their guns onto Sunak now and stoking up a civil war in the Rory ranks. They even got a front page dig in at Javid but in using Patel it kind of backfired as she didn’t stand as it would appear she had less support than him. As you say, it will be good if Sunak wins as they will need to divide their front pages up between attacking Sunak and Starmer. Leaves them in a bit of a quandary at the next election!

How long before Batman comes on and questions whether Mo Farah should be relocated to Rwanda? 🤔
-
It’s odd isn’t it. To be the right kind of immigrant it seems you have to be fleeing the right war or the right set of hardship. This won’t make any difference to the posters here of a Priti Patel mindset, but most of these people risk their lives crossing the channel because they speak English rather than French and or have relations here. It makes sense to resettle somewhere where you can communicate and know people doesn’t it? It is ridiculous that to apply for asylum here you have to be here. That encourages these trips in dinghies. If you make it it takes an age to have your case processed and now you face the threat of being sent to Rwanda! It’s not working as a deterrent so far is it? Now that Johnson is at last a busted flush hopefully whoever takes his place will get rid of Patel and bring in sensible and humane measures to deal with this issue. I’m not holding my breath though and it will probably take a change of government before we get some level of decency and humanity applied to these people (who surely have suffered enough already). Not sure what any of this has got to do with MLT’s daughter in law getting her kit off for money though?
-
Don’t worry hypo, if you reached that stage of desperation you probably wouldn’t be able to find anyone desperate enough themselves to part with cash to have sex with you anyway. While sneering at women who sell sex or pictures of themselves, perhaps consider the fact that if men weren’t prepared to part with vast sums of money to buy sex or pictures there would be no porn industry.
-
It’s odd isn’t it. People get all high and mighty about nudes but, no doubt, have looked at porn. Some get high and mighty about prostitution but it is the worlds oldest profession and is still thriving. Money makes the world go round and without it we are stuffed. For many now the financial crisis will make decisions like these more commonplace as food banks start to dry up. As Lighthouse says, it is strange that some people pay for porn when there is so much free stuff about on the internet, but I guess those serving niche markets can still make money out of it. For those who do it by choice, fair play to them. It is their body and they can do what they like with it. For those forced into porn or prostitution because they feel they have no other choices to make ends meet, I think most of us would feel gutted for them. I can understand MLT being unhappy about a family member selling nudes for cash. I can also feel for his family members being unhappy about some of the conspiracy theory nonsense that he continues to spread on social media. He argues for his freedom of expression, perhaps he should extend the same courtesy to his daughter in law?

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

You say you don’t do politics but come on and have a dig at those with presumably a different political view to you? I have been on this site for years mate and can assure you that it works for both sides. In fact the far right supporters used to be much worse. There are more people now speaking out against the right (probably because of the awful mess Johnson has made of things and prior to that, Cameron and May). You can guarantee that there will be plenty of “yeah but Corbyn,”yeah but Abbott,” etc in response to anything partly left of centre along with the name calling. Some time back I posted against the likes of Katie Hopkins and Tommy Robinson and got dog’s abuse from a few right supporters. Anyway, back to what is going on at the moment. Most of the names thrown into the hat so far aren’t inspiring. Not that I get a vote, but as a citizen of this country I would like to see someone like Rory Stewart as PM. It’s a shame that Johnson drove him out of politics. Most of the rest seem slightly less dodgy than Johnson but have been tarred with the same brush. I’m not sure how anyone can think that throwing names like Corbyn and Abbott around makes up for the total ineptitude of the likes of Patel, Dorries, Hancock, Raab, Shnapps, Truss, Rees-Mogg etc, etc. The only upside is that, hopefully, enough damage has been done to the Tory brand that they will get themselves voted out at the next election and we can finally find a government who works for the whole of the country and not just a select few (are you listening Sunak?). -

Word is that Johnson now is deliberately bringing more useless people into the cabinet to try and stitch up his successor. Not that you can be much more useless than Johnson. -

More so if you didn’t actually do anything wrong, despite all of the best efforts of the Daily Mail. So what is the score? 126-0. We know that the right wing media were trying to tell us that had he and Rayner been fined it would equal up the score (126-2). Watch as somehow they still try and make out that Starmer is just as grubby as Johnson. Starmer made a great speech today. The next general election can’t come soon enough. -

No Batman, it wasn’t but it didn’t prevent you from posting it. 😂 -
Joe Shields has been announced now as new Head of Recruitment. Opps…just seen a thread on his appointment elsewhere 😵💫

He does have a very good sense of humour but there has been precious little to laugh about for some time. As a former QC he will be used to writing his own closing speeches so I would imagine he mostly writes his own material. Angela Rayner said that he tends to work on his PMQ stuff himself. -

I wouldn’t bank on it. What he should do and what he does are two very different things. They will have to drag him kicking and screaming out of No.10. So far none of the other cabinet members have managed to grow a spine. Hopefully a few more will go before tomorrow. I expect there will be a lot of internal pressure on him to go but will he listen? -
So the kits have enough similarities to be called similar? That’ll do for me. 😉

It seems that your mate Turkish doesn’t understand English according to his quote in your post. As for this picture, what is it supposed to be about? I have read your posts over the years both as Delldays and then as Batman and the only thing I can work out about your mindset is that you don’t have a problem with any kind of bigotry and go out of your way to have digs at those who oppose it. I guess all those months underwater away from civilisation can have that effect on you?
-
Not as original as you might think. The design is very similar to the Newport County kit last season and the promotional blurb more so.

Perhaps the plan is to make the opposition feel sea sick?

Absolute pony. As someone who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s I can tell you that racism, homophobic and all that crap was was endemic in my peer group so please don’t pretend it was just the older generation. Yes there were plenty of liberal “woke people too, but the Gammon attitudes crossed all age groups in the 60’s and 70’s. The reason people did speak up against it was because you were seen as odd if you supported black people, gay people, bigots. Alf Garnet was supposed to be a figure of ridicule but many laughed with him instead of at him. Fortunately many people who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s have changed with the times but some, strangely, still call women “chicks” and anyone slightly left of centre “pinkos.” Before you go off one one, just think back to the jokes being told in the playgrounds in those days. They were all racist, sexist and homophobic. The sort you and your crowd probably still tell in your local Duckie. There were plenty of young people throwing bananas on the pitch at football matches. This country was full of bigots of all ages in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. One of the major changes now is if you call out bigotry you get labelled as a “snowflake” or “woke” as if standing up against that kind of thing is bad. Bigotry sucked in the last century and it sucks now. Thankfully more people are prepared to call it out for what it is now, despite those who put more effort into poking fun at “snowflakes” rather than dealing with the actual bigotry itself. These people thrive on todays social media where they can operate with complete anonymity behind a keyboard. We have two people on this forum who think it is amusing to use a doctored picture of someone who made comments about racist remarks as their avatars. Tells you all you need to know about how bigotry is still enabled in this country

Let’s play another game. Who can name a poster who has been banned twice but keeps coming back with a new name and swears blind he is not Delldays and Batman? Further clues, yeah but Corbyn, yeah but Starmer, the king of Whataboutery, spends his days trawling Twitter and other internet cess pools for random crap which supports his own warped world view, makes Turkish look almost reasonable in comparison. No prizes, but if you are the first name pulled out of the hat you get to choose his next username. 😎 -
I think 3 kits is taking the piss but don’t have a problem with the club changing the look regularly. They need to raise revenue and this is an obvious way to do it. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. If you think it is a rip off, don’t buy it. I was talking to an 18 year old Chelsea supporter the other day, not only does he buy the complete full kits every year but he also buys the training kits and leisure wear. You’d think he would have better things to spend his money on at that age, but it is his choice.
