  1. Here you go again. Why is calling someone a cheat when they cheat a racist comment? I think that you will find that most decent people want to win matches by their ability to compete rather than their ability to cheat. How you managed to shoe horn racism into a conversation about punching a football into the net and claiming goal only you will know. It’s a stalkers mentality I guess.
  2. I don’t want to see Saints players, England players or any other players for that matter dive, play act to get players booked or sent off, punch the ball in the net - blatantly cheat. It is not ok. Whoever does it. He is a “cheating cunt” because he blatantly punched the ball into the net and claimed a goal on the biggest stage in world football. Maybe you feel differently as you were happy to vote in a cheat as PM, but I think most reasonable people would have been embarrassed and ashamed if Lineker had done the same.
  3. Even for you that is a strange comment
  4. We should be talking about his footballing brilliance. Unfortunately that will probably be clouded by his not so great lifestyle. And the fact that he was a cheat. Still, can’t have it all. RIP.
  5. He is married into a Jewish family, so you would hope not!

Is it irresponsible behaviour to be out of work? Tell that to the thousands of people laid off through the effects of covid that haven’t found another job yet.
  8. 100% this. Corbyn clearly is not an anti-Semite. His handling of anti- Semitic behaviour in the Labour Party is in question though. No one seems bothered about the lack of any report forthcoming as promised about Isamophobia in the Tory party though. Why no uproar by the right supporters here, in the interest of balance? Muslims are fair game, Jews are not? And god forbid anyone should say anything in support of the Palestinians for fear that they will be accused of anti-semitism.
  9. My point was and still is that Chairmen and CEO’s speak very differently to DofF who are more hands on to the technical side of things so it is pointless comparing the two. If you want to compare Krueger compare him to Semmens.
  10. Krueger and Crocker are doing/did different jobs. Strange to hear Crocker talk about the youth team set ups playing differently. Weren’t we told some time ago that the teams would all be playing the same way to aid progression? No surprise to hear that the plot had been lost. Good to hear that he has been busy working away behind the scenes since February and that there is lots of positivity again within the club.
  11. I’m not sure why you would think I would want to share a room with an Alt-right sympathising, Islamophobic, misogynistic cyber stalker Verbal? It’s bad enough sharing a planet with him. You can see what type of person he is by his last comment. Whatever you think of me, I’d like to think that I have higher standards than that.
  12. People who support Tommy Robinson and Katie Hopkins whenever they are mentioned whilst pretending they know nothing about them.

    Coronavirus

It’s natural for people to worry about a new vaccine given the speed that it is being pushed through. I remember having several long discussions with my wife (who was a nurse) about our children having the MMR vaccine. She was against it initially but after a conversation with our doctor agreed to go ahead and they were fine. If covid killed young people in the numbers it kills older people, perhaps there would be less resistance to vaccination? As I am at risk, I will have it done. I would prefer a longer trial period but we don’t have the time. If we are going to beat this thing, we are going to have to take a leap of faith.
  14. Porridge. Any foodstuff that is only edible if you add something to take away it’s flavour is a non starter.
  15. They have to be able to look good in a blazer.
  16. I think he was referring to coming out as being gay as a life choice rather than the choice being gay.
  17. Perhaps at the end of the Covid updates they can include a diversity update where they can tell us what words we can use and which ones to avoid. Why is “coloured” worse than “black”? Neither are technically accurate anyway. Why is a person of colour ok and coloured not ok? The worst that should have happened is that he should have been sent on a diversity course.
  18. Covfefe anyone?
  19. By a lot! Most Presidents have managed to win a second term. Not Trump, who has also managed to lose the popular vote again by even more. You could feel the world breath a sigh of relief when the result was announced. Not because Biden won, but because this clown was out of the door at last. I noticed earlier that a regular poster here made a disparaging remark about Hilary Clinton. How anybody could think that Trump was somehow a more worthy candidate is beyond comprehension. Still, on the plus side, he proved beyond any shadow of doubt that he is exactly the type of narcissistic, stupid, divisive, self serving, lying, xenophobic bully that most sane people took him for before the last election. It has been so refreshing to see someone stand on that podium and not spew out Let’s Make America Great Again rhetoric. Whatever you think of Biden, at least he is a grown up who accepts that the US does not exist in a bubble. Another plus is that he obviously has Johnson pegged. America has a President who wears “big boy pants” again. Sadly we still have to wait a few years before we get someone similar in charge.
  20. Hopefully Trump will find being a Kingmaker difficult as, if there is any justice, he will be behind bars. As for Conservatism, surely both side are conservative? It’s just a question of how far right you want to go.
  21. You have proved my point about narcissism. The only person obsessed with you is you. Duckie - fair point. I said EU because I didn’t think that many people would remember the Common Market but hold my hands up.
  22. I didn’t say I was leaving. I said I wasn’t posting so much because of posters like you. Get your facts straight. As for democracy, when does a vote become “absolute”? I don’t know if you are old enough to remember but the country voted to join the EU. What happened to democratic veracity of that decision? You seem to ignore that because it doesn’t suit your purpose. If you we were to have had another referendum last year and the majority was in favour of staying, you would not have accepted that would you? No more than Farage would have accepted a defeat in the first referendum (according to his own words). The good thing about our democracy is that if we want to kick out a government every few years we can. We can’t keep leaving and rejoining the EU so why should one referendum mean more than another, or is it just a case of let’s keep voting until I get the decision I want? You make that argument against the Remainers but the point is we had a referendum and we voted to join. You had every right to moan about that decision just as those who voted to stay have every right to complain now. There is a massive difference here. Trump is the president and has been voted out whether he likes it or not. I don’t recall Cameron throwing his dummy out of the pram when he lost. In fact he did the decent thing and resigned. Trump needs to accept the defeat with good grace and let his stormtroopers do the dummy throwing for him. Still, I suspect that, as a narcissist yourself, you have plenty of sympathy for Donald.
  23. For someone who frequently criticises people who talk politics on a football forum ITK, you seem to have taken to it like a Duckhunter to water!
  24. I thought he should have played in Che to his left instead of shooting, still, a minor gripe given the overall performance!
