  1. Perhaps they tried? Who knows. The point is that everyone else was there and he wasn't. Having just been talked to about lack of focus, pitching up late for a crucial team meeting is hardly the brightest thing to do is it? It kind of proves Ron's point don't you think? I don't know whey you are hung up on the timing of the meeting and why it was changed. It is almost as if you are saying it was done to stich Mane up?
  2. Why shouldn't he switch off his phone? Because he has a team meeting to attend. It doesn't matter what reason there was for bringing the meeting forward. There was a meeting. It is his job to attend it. Everyone else was there. He had been spoken to about his lack of focus on Thursday and he turns up late for the team meeting on Saturday. There are "sanctions" if you are late to a team meeting by which I assume RK means that you are dropped to the bench if you are late. Whether he was two hours late of ten minutes, late is late. What was Koeman supposed to do? Having recently spoken to him about his lack of focus and then he turns up late for a crucial meeting he really didn't give Ron much choice did he?
  3. Also if he was in his room it was easy enough to phone him either on his mobile or on the phone in the room, or just to knock on the door. Wouldn't you just say can someone chase up Sadio please? Unless of course he wasn't at the hotel yet. Having been spoken too about his lack of focus on the Thursday even if he was 10 minutes late and not two hours late - do you think that is acceptable?
  4. This is the quote from The Mail from Ron. "He came two hours late to our last meeting. That's impossible. Everyone knows that we have sanctions and you don't start."
  5. 1. We were told that he was 2 hours late and not 10 minutes late. 2. Everyone else managed to get there on time. 3. He has previous. 4. If the meeting had been moved forward 10 mins and Man was 10 mins late would RK have kicked off so much when it could easily have been a misunderstanding?

  7. Apparently Mick Ronson also died of liver cancer.
  8. People are still laughing at Caulker going to Liverpool days after it has happened.

  10. I know that we have been saying for a while that Long was not worth £12m and I am one of those, but recently I have been changing my opinion.
  11. I know that we all have differing opinions about certain players but for me Davis is currently a key member of the team.
  12. I still cant get my head around this (as the former model said to the media tycoon)
  13. Is that his main role though? Being creative?
  14. But he does score, both for his club and his country. He does also provides assists or is often in involved in a build up to a goal.
  15. I don't think having a manager who hasn't been relegated is a sure sign for survival. There is a first time for everything!
  16. Yet he is not the first name on the French team sheet by a fair distance.
  17. Ron is no mug and knows a good player when he sees one.
  18. I don't think he is poor and am glad he plays for us.
  19. Good to see us playing fully to our potential again. We were never a bad side but the run of losses was damaging to confidence. This win will take some of the pressure off for Saturday but we need more of the same. Fair play to Koeman. He hasn't panicked and has been quietly working away at turning things around. More of the same please guys!
  20. I see the two Welsh voters both voted for Bale!
  21. Very sad news. RIP fella
  22. The guy can certainly play but as you say, has an attitude problem. It probably doesn't help that he looks like a not so Mini Me.
  23. For goodness sake don't give it to Pelle. Batman will go mental.
  24. I think we are often too quick to think the worst or to look at the negative spin, especially when results are not going well. Having said that there was plenty of criticism flying around last season despite the fact that we did really well. It goes with the territory I guess. The football club is the thing you kick rather than the dog when you are not happy in life (for some anyway).
