  1. I didn't said people who say they are Christian are not above committing serious crimes. How many of the clergy have been involved in kiddy fiddling or am I making that up to. Do you agree that people no matter what religion they are are capable of committing serious crimes, or is it just Muslims?
  2. Correct me if I am wrong but you don't have to be Catholic to be Christian. Also by celebrating the birth of Christ doesn't that kind of make you a follower? And if Katite Hopkins doesn't want to be thought of as a Christian perhaps best not describe yourself as the new Jesus. Isn't it also a tad hypocritical to make a big deal about celebrAting the son of god if you don't believe in it?
  3. Given that the "bedwetters" wrote off last season before we had kicked a ball I am more than happy to be "delusional."
  4. A number of players with good pedigrees take a while to settle into the Premiership but why not just write the bloke off after 6 games and a bad injury?
  5. Here's a couple for you Batman. Are you a Christian and how do you define a Christian?
  6. You seem to be making assumptions yourself Batman. What do you think? Raised in a convent. Takes her daughter to a Nativity play. Calls herself the new Jesus. No you are right. She is probably a Buddhist. Not been a good weekend for you though has it? What with not being able to slag off Pelle.
  7. Here is a quote for you Batman. "Jesus had followers. I have 600,000 followers on Twitter. It is about leading the way. There will be a lot of Judases among you but I accept that. I welcome Judas into my heart. I am the new Jesus." Tell me, can you get any more Christian than being the new Jesus??? She was also raised in a private convent school from 3 to 16 so that will give you a pretty good idea as to her religious background.
  8. Did she say "I am a Muslim?" Did she say "I am a Hindu? She made a big deal about taking her daughter to a Nativity play. That I believe is part and parcel of the Christian belief system, as is Christmas. I think it is a fair assumption that people bring their children up in the same religious traditions as they were brought up. Why would Hopkins make a big deal about taking her daughter to a Nativity play if she didn't want her to be part of the Christian festivities which would imply a certain sympathy towards Christianity wouldn't you say?
  9. I am not implying it, I am stating it as a fact. She made a big point to Andrew Neill about how pleased she was to be taking her daughter to a Nativity play. Given her hard bigoted views I would find it odd that she would be so keen to take her daughter to be indoctrinated through a religious ceremony if she didn't believe in it. I could be wrong but that is not as it came across in the interview - unless she was just trying to make a point about still having the ability to do so at her daughters school, in which case why make a big deal about it if you don't believe in the religion? But then that is Hopkins for you.
  10. I made the same point but got shot down.
  11. flicks
  12. We are not a well run club? Seriously???
  13. Out of the CL and beaten by Bournemouth with several ex players and pundits on his back...............

    Gazzaniga

I have been a big critic of his but fair play, well deserved MotM today.
  15. I agree with you. And there is no disgrace in losing to Palace at Selhurst Park they are a decent outfit and they are in form.
  16. He has had a handful of games and missed the start of the season with an injury. He is still on a steep learning curve. A bit early to write him off dont you think?
  17. It was the same with Morgan. I agree. It comes to something when you get slagged off and you haven't even played.
  18. Yes we could get more from midfield but you cant say that Davis doesn't score or have chances.
  19. Bed wetting might be a stupid expression but it does the job. Would you say that there was good reason to "show concern" (bed wet) when we sold players with plenty of time left in the transfer window when the club said they were working on bringing players in? They did and we had our best ever season in the Premiership but to read some of the posts that summer you would think that we had given up and were going to get relegated. What was the phrase? Firesale? We aren't even half way through the season yet and have another transfer window to come. But hey, lets show some concern now to save time later eh? Do you know what, if it had just started happening I could have some level of understanding, but we get it every time we drop points!
  20. Davis has scored some goals from midfield and nearly did again.
  21. No I didn't forget that. I just published the stats. Make of them what you will.
  22. Good for you! There you go, a bit of optimism doesn't cost a thing (and yes, I know you are being sarcastic).
  23. Things do change. Which is why there is no point in slitting your wrists half way through a season.
  24. You say playing on the counter as if it is a negative thing? Plenty of teams set themselves up to play counter attacking football. Plenty of teams do not play brilliantly but get a goal and take the points. Without wishing the state the obvious, you do not win games without scoring goals.
  25. They lost it a few weeks back if you use this forum as a yardstick.
